Seadog Cruises (Speedboat & Architecture Tours)

Highly recommend this boat tour for both tourists and locals! It's a great way to see Chicago from the lake and river perspective. The fascinating history combined with our guide and crew's fun, enjoyable presentation made it a perfect experience. Great job to the crew: Jake, Eric, Cole, and Jay!

Jinx is a great tour guide with Captain and first mate, Cool J and Eric, who all made for a great experience. Highly recommend going around sunset for the best lighting for pictures! (We did not get wet, though we were expecting we might!)

The Sea Dog was an incredible way to see the Chicago River and explore the architecture that makes Chicago so captivating. The extra was the thrill ride on Lake Michigan after the river tour. Captain J, Justin, and Jinx were amazing tour guides! The entire crew were incredibly friendly and outgoing. I had a smile on my face the entire time!

I had some time to kill and it was over 80 degrees and sunny and October so I randomly bought a ticket for this boat ride at Navy Pier and went by myself. The tour guide Ryan was very knowledgeable about the buildings and structures, as well as Chicago history. He was very entertaining. It was a Monday Morning (11:15am departure, 75 minute boat ride) so it was not very busy and the boat was not too crowded. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this tour for tourists or locals.

I’m terrible with names, but I believe our tour guide's name was Veronica? It was the short girl with brown hair. She was very funny and bubbly. Had such a blast riding the Sea Dog!

They are located on the south side of the pier towards the middle. We got a deal on Groupon to do this ride and it was worth it. It’s just nice to go out into the lake for 30 mins and enjoy the sights. Definitely try to get there a half an hour early so you’re not in the back of the line. The front seats don’t get that wet and it is a great view. Skunk and Chris were part of our crew and we had an amazing time with them.

My family had a BLAST on your 75min architecture tour. Ryan did amazing as our guide! Great way to kick off our Chicago visit! Views were STUNNING!!!
