Cruise terminal

The Royal Caribbean cruise terminal in Fort Lauderdale is very well organized and efficient. Boarding was quick and smooth, with everything clearly directed. The staff were professional and polite, making the whole process easy and stress-free. A great start to the cruise experience.

This cruise port operates as a multifunctional facility, handling both cargo and cruise passengers, so security is very strict. All vehicles are thoroughly checked before being allowed to enter, which can cause delays. Once inside, clear directional signs guide you to your assigned ship and numbered terminal. It’s important to be patient, allow extra time, and remain courteous, as many travelers are navigating the port at the same time. Be sure to take pictures if you park at the port of where you’ll be going to retrieve your vehicle at the end as the porters are very helpful and can help get you there quickly. If you show them where your parking sign was.

Not bad for a cruise port, pretty clean, just a bit confusing with bus shuttles and directions. Will be better to have a clear SIGNS where what shuttle bus, where luggage pick up/restrooms/entrance/exit etc.

The worst cruise terminal ever encountered, over 50 minutes queueing just to get to customs check,, once passed customs it was ok. Watch them driving along Quay side with cases on fork lifts and completely tipping one lot off on the road way, and then just chucking the cases back into the cage, no regard for people's property, a complete shambles, puts me and others who also were talking about from outside the states ever sailing from the port run with no regards for the people who use it,

Parking garage steps from terminal building is VERY convenient. Fast cruise check in for embarkation and fast disembarkation. About 10 min drive from main highways. CVS located nearby on street going to the terminal is perfect for some items you may have forgotten to pack.

Easy access. When you’re going to be departing, if you need an Uber, just expect a lot of drops might be better to actually pre-order a private otherwise you could wait up to about an hour for departure if you’re taking an Uber
