Carousel II

Went to Carousel 2 because I had checked the place out while flyering for comedy shows a few times and was interested to see what the place looked like inside. The place is much bigger then I expected it to be. It also has a great history that you can quickly learn about from asking the regulars or the staffers. It is a gay bar but the night I went it had a good mix of people. I ordered a Shot of vodka and a red bull and they poured me a huge shot and gave me the whole red bull and it was only $6.50. The cabaret upstairs is awesome and reminded me of a comedy club if it were in vegas. (not as big as a comedy club though). Only down side is they don't take credit cards but have an ATM that charges $3. If they are worried about peolple not "out" having carousel 2 show up on their credit card statements they can simply create a company name to show up on the bank statement that is different then the bar name. Problem solved. Other then that, the staff was very friendly, both male and female. I will def be back!
