New Orleans Queer Underground Tour

Quinn led an amazing tour of the often unspoken and forgotten history of queer New Orleans - tracing varying eras of resistance and visibility from 1850 through present day. As someone who has spent years in New Orleans and is so grateful to the city it was special to learn more about this particular path of its history and tales of the real folk who have walked these streets and lived in community here. Really a tremendous experience that Quinn executes with raunchy humor and ultimately an earnest heart.

Skip the ghost tours and learn about some of the real history of New Orleans. I took my niece during her first day visiting New Orleans and I loved that the first thing she learned about the city was that lesbians were kicking ass all the way back in the 1800s. Quinn was super knowlegable and funny and gave life to the stories she shared. Highly recommend!

Absolutely magnificent tour by a superlatively knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating tour guide! Quinn knows her stuff, she knows her audience, and she knows her city. I took my sister on a tour for her first time in New Orleans since our native New Orleanian grandparents died, and Quinn showed us a side of the city that was a second home in our childhood we never could’ve imagined learning at any time prior. The only thing to critique is that her tickets are far too CHEAP, and she should charge $10-20 more for the experience. BOOK A TOUR WHILE THE TIX ARE STILL SO REASONABLY PRICED!! I cannot recommend her tours enough. A treasure of a guide in a treasure of a city!

Really enjoyed the tour with Quinn. Highly informative and interesting, but much more is Quinn’s passion and nuance about the history of these powerfully unique people whose history, stories, and humanity she brings to life. As a straight cis ally, Quinn’s presentation gave me much to reflect on as I seek to be supportive in my own community. Thank you Quinn for who you are, and the impact your work undoubtedly brings. Highly recommend!

Quinn's tour is hands down one of the best in Nola, amazing history, with sad, funny,and inspiring stories. Quinn herself is an ABSOLUTE delight. Cannot suggest this tour enough. Do not miss out, book as soon as u can

There are many wonderful things to say about this tour. I found it insightful, fun, unapologetic, authentic and beautifully guided. If you are thinking about this tour, don't hesitate. If you're worried about 2 hours of walking, don't. It's a great pace with a short break in the middle. Quinn set the tone of the tour immediately and kept us all engaged with stories of New Orleans and it's people you won't read about in most history books.

Quinn is an amazing tour guide and the amount of information she provides is incredible! She is immensely knowledgeable in so many areas of queer history and was able to answer any questions the group had with ease. Would definitely recommend this tour!
