ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Not only will you learn more about the Natchez steamboat but the amazing history of how Nola came to be!!! I would definitely recommend this tour with the lunch included!

Fun experience. Our first trip was cancelled because of a bad thunderstorm ⛈️. We were allowed to get a refund or stay on board until the next trip. We stayed on board. The sit down meal was kinda ok. You do not get to choose what you want to eat.

My wife and I set sail earlier today for the mid-day experience inclusive of the 11am lunch seating. Helpful hints for those planning to travel at lunch time: (1) do NOT arrive early - you'll just stand in direct sunlight until boarding begins at 11:00am (2) do secure a place for the first seating - you'll finish eating about the time of cast off (3) do visit all decks - number of open seats will vary depending on how many people have joined you and (4) take lots of photos along the way. Note: the meal is a plated lunch sampler and the included drinks (water and tea) are self-service (a photo of the meal is included in this review).

Visited NOLA for the first time, this is an absolute must do when there. Booked in advance for a Sunday cruise, enjoyed the live Jazz, good selection of cocktails - overall a nice atmosphere cruising on the river soaking in the beautiful sights.

The ride is really nice and so was the three man jazz band . The Captain/ narrator was very informative. The cruise is fine just don’t pay the extra for the lunch. The food had no love to it. A little German roach took off running and had the same color as the rice served. Our server was a delight - he stepped on the Roche and laughed with us. But as soon as you see a roach everything went sour. And they should maintain the carpet or at least call Stanley carpet cleaner because it’s very ragged out.

The river part is nice. The part where you pay 100 dollars for a dinner that’s touched by the other 200 guests also eating dinner is a great way to spread diseases, not a great way to run a business. To be clear I’m commenting on the fact that the food is served buffet style, so I have to trust that the 200 guests who have been walking the streets of the French quarter all day somehow paused to wash their hands before digging into the food. We just went through a worldwide pandemic but it appears this company has learned nothing.

"Prison Slop with a Side of River Views" If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be served lunch at 10:45 in the morning, this is the cruise for you. We booked the 12:15 second sitting but were told there was only one, so we were marched straight to a table like naughty schoolchildren headed for detention. By 10:45, trays of what I can only assume was prison slop were unceremoniously plonked in front of us. The "main" was so grim I half-expected to see it featured in a documentary about 1950s cafeterias. Just as we were trying to politely push the food around our plates, a dessert was thrown at us — allegedly hot, but cold enough to double as an ice pack for our crushed expectations. By 11:15 we’d given up, left most of it untouched, and sat twiddling our thumbs until 11:30 when the boat finally decided to leave dock. That’s right: lunch was over before the cruise even started. The saving graces: the jazz band and narrator were both decent, and the river views are always a win. But in a city where food is practically a religion, serving this slop is a culinary crime. ⭐⭐ 3/5 stars — Music and river: good. Food: a cautionary tale.
