A truly delightful city park in the middle of town. A swimming pool with changing rooms, picnic tables, Canada Geese, flower gardens, grassy places to walk, plus paths, a band shell with a pond and bridge, and a green house. All is free for the public to enjoy. Watchful park maintenance personnel keep track of the homeless and escort them out, preventing their sleepovers. No litter either.

Love everything about this place. The wild life and the landscaping is just 10 out of 10. If you need a place to just enjoy a few hours this is your place!!!

A wonderful park full of hidden history. Once the home a grand palace that was full of minerals found within Colorado. They hosted formal dinners a events galore. Some structures still stand from that era including the bridge overlooking the pond, Amputherater and original bath house which contains fabulous art exhibits from local artists. The pool is amazing in the summer very inexpensive and offers a very affordable snack bar. My son loves the playground and the open space to play ball in. Also has some stone chess tables located in the south west corners. Great park to visit!!

This park was so lovely! We were from out of town and rented an Airbnb that was walking distance from here, loved how big it was and enjoyed seeing all the flowers and geese here. Friendly people come here often to bike and walk their dogs.

We had a blast here my silly kids decided they didn't care how cold the water was they were still gonna play in it. People were out fishing the whole scenery was picturesk except there was a lot of trash in some places along the river... That there is no excuses for there are trash cans with lids very nice rest room set ups ... Get it together people.

Would have been a five star but the bathrooms were disgusting. Lovely garden/flower beds though. There is lots of room to play ball or frisbee, etc. A nice pond with fountain..no feeding ducks allowed 🙁 lots of old buildings and walking distance from the mineral palace museum. Good playground w swings and picnic tables. Lots of nice old trees. Needs more informational plaques. I look forward to going again.
