Lt. Lia Playground

Lt. Lia Playground is a terraced park, with its dramatic views of the harbor and Manhattan, serving as a fitting tribute to local war hero Lieutenant Nicholas Lia (1944–1968). It’s located on Wall Street and Belmont Place, Staten Island, NY. It’s open everyday from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. It’s spacious and has a variety of places where children can play including a water fountain.

everything is so nice and clean, but one BIG minus - there is no public toilet.

Dedicated to the Staten Island native who was killed during the Vietnam War, this small park sits in an uphill area of Staten Island and offers a partial view of Manhattan’s skyline.

It's a nice safe place to take your kids out for to play they have the basic kids play area

A nice quite park surprisingly due to a not quite neighborhood

Sprinklers were on one day and not another day. Both very hot days. They hsve wide open space for kids to run around (asphalt). The baby swings and the slide and jungle gym are on opposite sides of the park. They have fountains and plenty of seats. Decent spots to be covered by shade
