I really don’t know what the bad reviews are about.. I love CRC, the lab AND the people! I’ve been coming here ever since I saw how they develop and scan my color negatives. You usually only see people sharing reviews when they’re unhappy with their results, so let me share some of my recent shots, developed and scanned by CRC.

Great location, nice store but… pretentious staff behind the counter. Came here to purchase film for my students. The person behind the counter did not know much about the actual film being sold in their store and continued to be cold when asked simple questions and seeking help. So, instead I found a better shop a bit further uptown that was able to guide me in a much more respectful way. The Vibes really matter when paying so much for film. Especially for photography students.

I wish I could’ve had a better experience here. Extremely rude, disrespectful man who tried to upsell me on glicee prints. Trying to charge me 1000$ for 20 prints. Then started nitpicking about why my signatures were different on my paintings? He tried to make it come off as if he was trying to teach me something, when I literally do not care. Mind your business, and do yours. THEN when I received my scans, the sheer amount of photoshopping I had to do to fix the color balance was insane. They weren’t even remotely similar. It was like someone bumped the saturation to 80% ! Do NOT go here for scans, or for prints if you want to be upselled disrespected.

AVOID THIS LAB! Serious Quality Issues with E-6 Processing I sent in a total of 3 rolls of 120 and 35mm Fuji Provia 100F (RDPIII) slide film to this lab in February and March. Both times, I experienced significant problems: **Color Cast**: The developed film had a strong blue-green color cast, drastically different from the actual colors. **Density Loss**: The film's Dmax was lower than it should be. To rule out other factors, I compared these results with film from the same box/batch/storage conditions that was processed at two different dip-n-dunk lab. This confirmed that the issues originated from CRC's processing.

It was fast but the quality is so bad, i chose low res resolution but I didn’t expect 700kb photo from 120mm film, and pixelated photos from 35mm. They said it’s a preview of my film but I could understand it if the cost for it was like 10$, but preview is now cost $20!! like a regular scan in other labs. Insane

I was so excited to get my first two rolls of film from my Mamiya rb67 developed and was told it would be ready next day, which was Saturday. Went in and the woman informed me they don’t process on weekends. She said it would be ready Monday. I called Monday and the man working said "all scans will be ready in an hour." It’s Monday evening and haven’t received ANYthing from them. Just full on disappointing.
