Main St. Photo-Video

I cannot recommend Main Street Photo enough. From the moment I walked in, the owner took the time to truly listen to what I needed and met me exactly where I am as a beginner. Using his deep knowledge and experience as a photographer, he helped me choose the perfect DSLR to get started; never overwhelming, never upselling, just thoughtful guidance every step of the way. He patiently answered all of my questions, explained things in a way that made sense, and made sure I felt confident before I left. He also set me up with a great camera bag, a comfortable strap, and a beautiful lens all at a price that felt more than fair. Being able to hold the camera, feel how it fit in my hands, and have a real conversation with someone who genuinely cares about photography is something online shopping could never touch. This kind of personal experience is priceless. We will absolutely be back. Supporting a local business like this , one built on knowledge, passion, and care is worth every bit of it.

This place is great. John is very talented. I had a nearly 15 year old video on DVD that had a lot of audio issues and needed a section trimmed out. He did a great job and I’m so grateful he was able to edit the video. He’s very busy, so I recommend communicating your deadline and expectations for the project in detail and he will get it handled for a very reasonable price. Will definitely use him again for future needs! Thank you, John!!!

Main Street Photo and John are a local treasure. I came in looking for a point and shoot film camera one day. This turned out to be a major "mistake"because it has turned it an obsessive hobby of mine now, thanks to John and his amazing service and expertise. John always takes the extra time to answer your questions about products, give advice on the photos you’ve gotten back from development, or even just chit-chat about anything photography! I am always impressed with the service and knowledge provided by Main Street Photo. If you have an interest in photography, or need any other services they offer, do not hesitate to swing by, you will not be disappointed.

I have used Main St Photo for lots of things. Getting my disposable cameras developed, picture taking of my family, wedding photo tasks and wonderful displays during art walk. It’s run by one of the kindest people named John. He is not only knowledgeable about photography and videography, but he’s got such an eclectic camera collection to peruse when you visit the store. If you need a camera repaired, he’s the man for the job. I will never go anywhere else for my photo/camera needs and highly recommend Main St Photo and Video. Thanks for the great service!

Fantastic expertise and selection. I had a great experience at Main Street Photo, the owner has a truly fantastic professional eye for color and photography, he really knows his stuff. On top of the expertise, the shop has a great selection of professional cameras. It’s rare to find this level of knowledge and inventory in one place. Highly recommend!

After my experiences with printing digital photos at many of the other more mainstream options, for years I had pretty much assumed that printed photos would never be as good as film photos, but thankfully Main Street Photo has completely proven otherwise! Their work is incredibly beautiful! They are wonderfully helpful and kind.

In my experience, John is always friendly, quick with his turn around, and the photos are great. He’s worked with me on the best size for pictures and does beautiful editing.
