I was visiting my friend in Provo and randomly discovered this store. Who would’ve thought such an amazing place would be in Provo of all places! The inside looks incredible—you can tell that whoever designed it put so much thought into every detail. They even have a photo studio right next door. My favorite part was being able to browse through all the incredible photography books. That’s actually how I discovered Rodney Smith for the first time—and I’ve been absolutely obsessed with his artwork ever since. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jonathan. He was so kind, humble, and answered all of my questions with such warmth. If I lived in Provo, I’d be hanging out there all the time!

The FIND Lab used to be my go-to for film developing and scanning in Utah Valley, usually reliable, until my last roll earlier this year. I was excited about the photos, but the scans came back with yellow streaks and color issues across consecutive frames. These look like chemical stains or uneven development (example photos below). I even considered it might’ve been my own error, but I shot Portra 400 on a sunny day and am very careful with my film. I’ve never had something like this happen before. It was disappointing to see what should’ve been good images ruined by processing flaws. Having been a loyal customer since the Provo location opened, it felt like a real letdown. As a broke college student who paid around $20 for development, I expected professional results, ones I was willing to pay a bit more for. I’ve since switched to another lab, but I’m sharing my experience in hopes it helps others or encourages the team to improve their quality control and maybe reach out to make things right.

Incredible store, great vibe, awesome staff. I was able to grab a nice ND filter for my camera, and some awesome fun film cameras for my two kids as a gift. It's an incredible retro film joint with lots of offerings, including developing. Richie at the front desk was awesome help! Great place!

Hand down the best place to get your film developed locally in Utah. Everyone who works there is super chill and down to earth and arent those gatekeeping photography snobs that other shops often have.

A really cool place to visit and a pretty awesome venue for parties and other event events. Very easy to get to being in downtown Provo, with good parking options and hotels nearby.

If I could give this place more stars, I would! Whenever I have questions, need tips/recommendations, or need help with my scans, they exceed my expectations. I love the team and I love the passion that they have for their work. I recommend any beginners to the film world to start here for all of your supplies and questions. FINDlab, if y'all need someone to promote your business, lmk. I'll do it for some wings from wingstop. Keep up the great work!<3

I send in several rolls per week and have been loving this place! I used to go to another lab that charges the same price, but their turnaround time was much longer and I had some issues with their delivery method. Workers are nice and the atmosphere is great 🤗
