White Space Studios

The cyc wall was very dirty with scuffs. Also the benches were dirty from feet and look like they haven't been washed. There was a dent in the wall as well that seems like it has been there a while based on the other reviews I've seen here. Overall, it looks like they stopped maintaining the south studio for some reason. The lighting was beautiful, but the amount of editing I had to do because the cyc wall was so dirty makes it a dealbreaker for me, and I won't be returning.

I love every single studio in this space! It is so well kept and clean! I always feel confident bringing my clients into this space. The east studio is the one I use most often and I love the variation in the morning light and evening light. I love using the south studio for its clean simple look. And I love the west studio for the moody vibes!

Scuff Space Studio might have be the new name. My wife and I have booked here many times over the last year. The Cyc wall has only gotten dirty and dirty over time, and now has a dent in the wall. I’m shocked that this studio doesn’t have a monthly repainting and an immediate repair to a hole in the backdrop everyone rents the studio for. I’ve never met the people in charge, and wonder how often they visit. I hate leaving bad reviews, and will gladly leave a 5 star review if they start to truly live up to their name. It’s a pain to edit scuff marks and a dent in every photo. When clean this place is great.

Obviously very well thought through. So much more than an existing space with some paint on it. Every corner has potential.

Good self-service photo studio. You will be rushed as they book every last minute on most days.

I’ve been using white space studios for years and it’s always been my preferred studio in the valley. However, my experience in the last few months has been less than satisfactory. One month ago I booked the Provo south studio for a few hours to offer mini sessions. When I got to the studio I was appalled at the condition of the studio. There was a huge hole in the seamless wall and the paint looked like it hadn’t been updated in months. It took me twice as long to edit these sessions because I had to edit out scratches, dents and chips in the paint in EVERY. SINGLE. PHOTO. I tried to be understanding and reached out to the studio manager expressing my concerns. She responded back to me and said that they paint the studio every week, (I am going to completely call them out on that lie as the condition of the floor and walls proves it has not been repainted in MONTHS) and that she would reach out to the owner to see how they could resolve the situation. I have yet to receive a response from her or the owner. Today I went into the same studio, hoping it would be in better condition since my email and it was not. Again, the huge dent in the wall was still there, there were scratches all over the floor and the walls, the trash can was overflowing with garbage and the entire studio reeked of urine. I will NOT be using this studio again and I advise other photographers to do the same. It is not in any condition for photographers to bring their clients in for a photo ready space that’s well maintained and taken care of. The fact I haven’t received a response and that my concerns were not addressed nor repaired, proves that the owners do not care if the space is useable for their paying clients. So disappointed.
