The Lumeneir

I was in the Lumeneir photo studio on the evening of Tuesday, March 19th for a family photo shoot. While taking a photo standing behind the light brown leather couch, my pants were snagged by what felt like velcro or an unfinished seam on the back of that couch. I noticed the snags on my pants once I got home and changed out of my clothes. That evening was only the second time I’d worn those pants. They cost $100 and now they’re ruined. I paid my alterations place $15 to "fix" them and when I went to pick up the pants they told me there was really nothing they could do since the pants weren’t made from a weave-able fabric. The pants are very light colored so the snags are very obvious. Within the last month, I've messaged the owner of this studio on IG, FB and by email and they've not been the least bit concerned in responding to my concern. I wouldn't use this place as a venue or studio because it's clear they don't take accountability for incidents or damages that occur on their property. It would be risky for someone to use their space without the guarantee the owner would at least respond to you should something happen at their place of business.

Beautiful clean space. The staff/owner is nice and very helpful.
