Elysium

This was my first time going to Elysium! It was a Birthday Date Night & Haven was there! It was nice & dark, with flashing lights illuminating the dance floor, smoke machines... The atmosphere was PERFECT! Phenomenal sound, comfortable seating, friendly staff, & a fantastic selection of beverages. This was a TRULY memorable night & I am looking forward to going back again!

The staff are wonderful and it has a good vibe. The performances were all great that evening. The men's bathroom though could be a bit less punk rock. No doors, communal urinal trough, and an unbelievable stench. To top it off the band merch table was about 10' away. Many piss filled patrons turned away after they beheld what awaited them and just tried to hold it. It was very memorable aspect. Good people and nice club vibe though.

Went there for new year eve with my husband. We paid for 2 entries, opened a tab, and were very polite and mindful of everyone. At some point my husband stepped outside to get some fresh air and the bouncer refused to let him back him for no valid reason. I did ask before entering if reentry was allowed and was told it was OK. 10 min before new year we were kicked out in the street and I had to close my tab, pick up my jacket and leave. It was a real bummer to start 2026 like this and there was absolutely no reason to treat us like this. I felt disrespected and will never be back there!

I love 8's night on Sundays. I've been going to this club for 20+ years! The staff is like extended family and most of my closest friends I met on Elysium's dancefloor. No flex, no drama, all great vibes and no fear dancing! Go get it!

I love Elysium! Every time I visit, I feel very welcome. It's also a good creative space to just be yourself. I met new friends there, and I enjoyed looking at the art all around the venue. All the employees were nice to me and answered any questions. The big restroom there is so cool with the art in there. I also enjoy seeing shows there, since you can be nice and close to the stage. DJs there have all been awesome from my experiences. I would recommend going to Elysium if you want a fun and welcoming scene. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. ✨️

Austin's original goth and alternative club. This place has a great old school vibe with a patio and dance floor. Great DJs mix classics with new stuff.

Best Goth club ( also I think it's pretty much the only one) in Austin! I've been going here for over 20 years off and on. Great atmosphere great people the owner John is an awesome guy.
