Ever walked around Whole Foods and thought to yourself, "Heyyy... I want to eat that. RIGHT NOW." Me neither but I wanted to take advantage of those Amazon Prime Friday deals so I was going to have a cold beer and some oysters and a slice of pizza. Go to the designated counters, place your orders, order a drink at The Watering Hole bar, and have a seat. After a few sips, go around and gather your orders, and either dine in or take out. I ended up ordering a Mother Earth Cali Creamin', a tasty vanilla cream ale, at The Watering Hole as my beverage. I also ordered a dozen farm-raised Cotuit Atlantic Oysters with a pepperoni pizza. I had intended to dine in but realized I required way too much to enjoy my oysters there. Where's the lemon? Where's the Tabasco? Ah yes, home sweet home. Whole Foods Market's motto is "Whole Foods, Whole People, Whole Planet." Word.
I love Whole Foods! They always say don't go shopping when you haven't eaten! The store smelled so good that I had to go to the restaurant and get something to eat. I was the first one to EVER order their chicken sandwich off their new menu. It was to die for! NOT KIDDING!!
Great food and lively staff, fried cauliflower is best
For a bar-restaurant inside a grocery store, this is a great spot for a meal or a drink, or just to watch sports. The menu has a surprising range of options that have all tasted great so far, from tacos to nachos to salads to paninis. The draft beer menu is impressive by any standards and always changing. I've tried beers here I had not seen anywhere else yet. My wife and I like to stop here when we're done with our grocery shopping to have lunch or dinner. We just park our cart next to our table and enjoy.
I didn't realize it was inside of Whole Foods, but I wouldn't let that stop you. The food was good and fresh. They have the beer variety of a small taphouse with several locals, regional, and a few Belgians on tap. You can also pick from Whole Foods' beer selection of bottles and cans.
This place was recently remodeled. It was already such a neat little spot but now looks like a full on restaurant/bar. No hard liquor. Jay and Devyn are the friendliest people and know their stuff. This place is located inside of Whole Foods, so hey if you want to grocery shop after having yourself a beer, it's all good. Yummy food and great specials during the week.
Awesome restaurant/pub space within Whole Foods. Newly remodeled with lots of space to spread out and how many interestingrotating taps. Great pub food with surprisingly reasonable specials. You can always bring food from anywhere else in the store into the area to eat also. You can also bring beer or wine from the store proper in to the bar area and there is no corking fee.
