The480Bar

Visiting from out of town for baseball. Traditions are the real life, from baseball lore to neighborhood bar crowds. Human nature doesn’t change - we love our stories and routines. Well, this has become one of mine. After two straight spring training games Lance and I stopped by the 480 Neighborhood Bar again tonight to chill and soak in an eventful week. It’s my fourth time ever. Within seconds the bartender CJ recognized us (we havent been back in two years) and greeted both him and I with a smile & wink; she’s a pro and a friend. You won’t find this in many places. You WILL find it in hundreds of Wisconsin neighborhood bars, and The 480 in Chandler, AZ. She’s Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. But I hear the other bartenders are fuggin awesome too. And Karaoke Thurs-Sat for those who love it. Full bar until 11pm, and quality stuff. Multiple pool tables, high top, and space at the bar. Open till 2am is awesome.

Safe your money and peace the bartenders are absolutely rude. We had the worst experience ! They have a bench outside by the parking lot where my sister was sitting while we checked out. As we are checking out we hear the bartender with short Karen hair call me sister homeless for waiting for us at the bench. We went over to tell her we are checking out and since it was Friday there was a lot of people also waiting. While we try to explain she proceeds to keep yelling with an Asian bus boy who ends up pushing my husband to try to fight him. I then shoved back and told him don’t touch us we are leaving and guess what he then pushes me (women) too. Trust me when I say this do not go there

Great vibes, good energy! This was my first time, and would definitely be back. Went on a Sat night so it was busy. They had karaoke which I'm not a huge fan of. I had a great time though! Good mix of people. Their food was good. I had a quick bite of their chicken fingers and fries. You shouldn't mess those up though! Lol Drinks were good. Parking was a little confusing. Parking is in the back. They have pool tables, but those were busy. I'll see how next time goes! All in all - Great experience overall!

Come to Arizona for a day trip from Indiana for my friend's birthday. (Friend is originally from this area) We did some bar hopping and stopped here. By far was my favorite bar. The vibe and atmosphere was great. Jen is absolutely amazing. She made me feel very welcome. When we come back I definitely want to come back here.

I’m extremely disappointed with how our group was treated here. We were asked to leave and told we were "too drunk," even though several of us had barely had anything to drink. It felt completely unwarranted and targeted. The situation escalated when one of the bartenders (short blonde hair) became confrontational and aggressive in tone. Another staff member, a younger male bartender, physically grabbed two women from our party while escorting us out. One of them ended up with a large bruise afterward. There was no reason for things to become physical. We felt disrespected, embarrassed, and unsafe. There are better places in Arizona that know how to handle situations professionally without escalating them. I would not recommend this bar based on our experience.

I always have a blast at The 480 Bar in Chandler, it’s my go-to for karaoke nights. The stage setup is professional yet laid-back, so whether I'm singing or just watching, I’m totally into the moment. The drink specials are solid, the pizza is surprisingly good, and the crowd feels friendly and fun without being chaotic. Karaoke kicks off around 9 PM on weekends, so it’s perfect for an evening outing. If you’re looking for a lively spot with actual karaoke energy in Chandler, this place absolutely delivers.

It’s a chill dive bar, love how different people & groups intermingle. Cheap drinks & the bartenders are cool. They have the best karaoke and $1 jello shots
