Cell Block Chicago

Stumbled on this place while perusing the neighborhood for a cocktail bar. Khabeer was super fun and this bar plays the best music. They have a back bar with other parties going on but we stayed up front and didn't feel uncomfortable or anything. I'd definitely go back.

Not your typical gay bar, Cell Block caters more towards those of us in the bdsm/leather community. Drinks are decently priced and the staff are very friendly. The back bar area is lots of adult fun but up front you also have darts and pool. If I lived in town, this would be my regular hangout for sure.

The scant few moments we spent in the main bar were perfectly nice, but the backroom was absolutely the selling point for me, personally. Really, really cool place that garners an awesome crowd. It was especially great because, as a trans man, I often feel alienated from these parts of my community, but everyone was totally chill and respectful, not to mention a lottttt of fun 😉 I will absolutely be coming back!

Fun place. Zack the bartender is great but you all probably know that because he said he came with the building. Nice place to meet up at and maybe explore the back area together.

Love how welcoming this place is from management to bartenders. It's not uptight even though it's boys Town. Actually I don't think boys town is uptight. Make sure you stop in you'll have a great time

Tonight Latino night best night at Cell block in my life. Must host more night like this . It was so good I even saved the night on the stage

A time was had here. No photos 😏 but the drinks were good and not overpriced or watered down. Not as big as the eagle in NYC but the same vibe if you're picking up what im putting down.
