Went here before seeing a show at the Vic. Nice place and very cool atmosphere. We had some amazing cheeseballs and just stopping by and not reserved seats. Good place and would recommend

If you ever thought you wanted to take a grilled cheese to another level, Cheesie’s is that place! 🤤 I think we had the Tenderizer and the Classic sandwich. And of course we had to get the fried pickles and the Loaded Tots as well. It opens earlier in the day but it’s very chill bar & grill vibes. Order at the counter, find a table, and they bring your food to you.

Stumbled upon this place and decided to stop in. Glad I did. The staff was so friendly and welcoming! We ordered food and were very impressed. Also, fun atmosphere. I also have to give special appreciation for the door staff, "Big Willy" who was very friendly and welcoming and especially to our bartender/server Yolanda "Yuli". She went above and beyond from the very beginning of our interaction and continued throughout our visit. WOW! She is a phenomenal employee and should definitely be recognized for it! I'm from Minneapolis but visit Chicago all the time, and this will definitely be a stop on all my future visits.

Absolutely vile experience. I ordered the Popper sandwich without bacon — the woman at the counter confirmed no bacon, my bag even says no bacon — yet my entire sandwich was absolutely stuffed with it. I’m vegetarian and allergic to bacon, so this wasn’t just careless, it was dangerous. The fact that a restaurant can make such a reckless mistake with an allergy is insane. Beyond disgusting, and honestly terrifying. I will be calling tomorrow to report this, but thank god I caught it before eating. Completely unacceptable service.

The staff was fantastic - Amanda (bartender) and Jack (server/area guru) - and the food was delish! $10 for a Ketel One in Chicago?! So cheap!!! Must go!!!

I would have given them 5 stars of they had the cider listed on the chalk board (meaning we were so disappointed and would not have been as much if we had seen they were out 😿)

Went to this location on Saturday, my server was Zola and they were so nice and attentive and made amazing drinks. Loved it! Definitely coming back again for the fried pickles and superb drinks and service.
