Came here for bingo on Sunday night and it was so much fun! Free to play, (2 drink minimum on the big prizes)… bartender was very friendly and quick. Cheap prices for drinks and specials everyday. Free popcorn as well. Cozy dive bar vibes, definitely would come back. You could tell this is where locals come to hangout and gather. Trivia is on Wednesday nights!

Let me tell you something about Friar Tuck. I ended up there on accident with a friend during a trivia night. We had no trivia team but the host (Lindsay if I recall) made room for me and my friend. Not only that, she took time to talk with us, give us a list of songs to listen to, and literally made the experience more fun than I would’ve expected (as last place in trivia). If you like trivia, definitely play it there. If you like drinks, they got them! 10/10 experience!!!!

Honestly best bar ever. You can bring your own food in but also they have popcorn. Bartenders are amazing, they always remember my name and order, and have the perfect balance of getting your drink quickly but also making casual chit chat. Trivia on Wednesdays with Lindsay is AMAZING, she adds her own flare to it every week. Beware that you need to arrive ~6:30pm to secure a table though.

Awesome neighborhood bar. Check out the beer of the month. They always have good specials. Not much to say. Just a good bar. Make sure to come here on your birthday!

Just ok today. A good friend use to live on the Lake so we stopped in. Bartender was focused on the 3 locals. Absolutely zero engagement. Could be fun maybe....... If not a local, I suggest staying in Wrigley

I've been to this bar many times but my most recent visit kind of ruined it for me. When I closed my tab for two beers the total seemed high so I asked what I was billed for, which they write on little sticky notes attached to the credit cards. I was told I ordered three beers, and I replied that I only had two. The bartender just stared at me and I didn't want to get into an argument so I chose to pay it and leave and I'll probably never return again. It's disappointing, as I was a happy patron for years.

My friend and I were excited to go to Friar Tuck for the first time (mainly because of the cool door) and went here to try the espresso martini samples that were advertised at 8pm and were rudely told "they are available whenever 'she' gets here" and that they are "just a shot". We were aware that they were "just a shot" and were simply interested in visiting this place for the first time and trying a sample of a drink we normally enjoy. We left abruptly due to the unprofessionalism and rudeness displayed by the woman. We were not expecting to be met with an abrasive and dismissive attitude, in an attempt to support a local business. Disappointed with this experience and most likely will not return.
