Tony's place is THE place to be at 9am any day of the year. We make our yearly pilgrimage to Tony's the Friday morning of MLK weekend, as it is the only bar that is open when our flights land from Colorado for our annual beach Ultimate frisbee tournament in Huntington Beach and weekend of debauchery. They recognize our crew as soon as we walk in and welcome us with open arms. You would never know is was 9am as the place is already packed with regulars and the blinds are always drawn. Get sucked into the atmosphere and enjoy the company. It's basically like being in a real life version of Cheers. Know what you're in for and adapt to your surroundings and you'll have a great time. Expect anything more than a locals dive bar and you'll be disappointed.

If you’re looking for something trendy or upscale, this isn’t it. This is a quiet, no-frills bar where nobody’s trying to impress anyone. Just a solid spot with one bartender keeping the drinks flowing for a crowd of regulars who know each other’s names — and probably each other’s stories too. It’s not polished, and it’s not trying to be. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down, have a drink, and just be. No judgment, no pretense — just people unwinding after a long day. If you’re looking for a real place with real people, you’ll feel right at home.

Me and my friend chose to stop at this place because it looked like a nice bar, and we were planning on playing pool there. It was busy at the bar, so we sat at a table trying to decide what to drink. I looked at the bar tender because I was about to go ask what beers they have, and she said we can't just sit and hang out here and we have to order something. I was literally about to order, and what else do you do at a bar other than drinking and hanging out. The fact that we were there just for a few minutes and had that happened was shocking to me. I'm not a business owner, but I would treat people with respect. We went there to drink and have fun, and what would the business getting in the end? ... My money. Good thing we left, I spent it somewhere better

I didn't have any food but I think Tony's prices are cheaper than other bars I've been to. I haven't been there in awhile (like many years) and it still has friendly bartenders and a pool table/pinball .. love the atmosphere!!

Pretty standard dive bar. Lots of stuff on tap with a pool table, dart board, and typical gambling computer games on the side. T-shirts are $30.00. Pretty much locals are here and it gets crowded around 10:00 at night with 20-somethings so if you want it to be nearly empty come around 8:00. Bring a good attitude and good sportsmanship if you're gonna play pool.

Honestly I was pleasantly surprised The drinks were very affordable They seemed like a bunch of great people that frequent this place There was a birthday they were celebrating and made everybody feel completely invited and shared their cake with us My favorite part of this was that they had the electronic dart board I love playing darts So it was a great night I like Tony's place. Oh and for being a Tuesday night there was lots of people there....
