Went for the first time for a friend’s birthday and this place is AWESOME! Totally recommend going on a Saturday because of the music. The Dj’s are very experienced and hype the entire place up. The lighting is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, the music is great, and drink options are great here too. It definitely gets crowded and stays that way until closing. They’ve got places for you to hang your coats (you do have to pay) and also have bathrooms downstairs (I will say that the bathrooms were not labeled male/female so people would keep walking into the wrong bathrooms…). Overall this place was a great experience.

The regular go to spot for edm n kc. I use to judge it for being a "club" but it has quickly become one of my favorite places to throw down. the scene is truly beautiful. Security is lovely but also wont hesitate to take action when appropriate. If your interested in edm definitely check it out on Saturdays.

Best EDM club in the city! I haven’t been out to a nightclub in years, but Aura blew me away! The technology in this place is incredible—the laser show was amazing, and the sound system is completely over the top in the best way possible. As an old-school purist, I was really impressed. Also, a huge plus was seeing lots of security outside; it made us feel very safe. If you're looking for the best EDM experience in Kansas City, this is it.

Aura has truly been my home for the last two years. It’s one of the places where I’ve met some of the most amazing people in my life It’s beautiful how a club can turn into a place full of memories, comfort, and people who end up feeling like family. Both years I celebrated my birthday at aura. Yesterday I celebrated my 25th birthday for Phase One and first time ever got bottle/table service. I wish I remembered my bottle girls name and who helped with my table, overall I just want to give a huge shoutout to Stuart and Aura Staff. Aura KC was a fantastic club. I saw Trivecta the day after Thanksgiving and it was a fantastic show. The club may be smaller than some but it allows the audience to experience a more intimate experience with the DJ. The bar service was fast and the drinks were good. I would 10/10 hit this place again to see a show.

My partner and I love to go dancing and go out all the time, especially when we travel. This place was the worst we’ve been to. $50 for my partner and I to get in on a Friday night around midnight (most outrageous cover but thought it must be really good). Nope, very few people were there and the music was horrible. Pretty much no one was dancing. Felt like a complete ripoff

Door security is WAY too "handsy". There is no need to "cup" & "feel", when checking people for weapons. You have a wand for a reason. No open palms should EVER be placed on anyone's chest or genitals. Completely unnecessary!!!! Train your security on how to properly search people without assaulting them.
