Very fun place. Great atmosphere. We went to the balcony bar, and the bartender was amazing. Drinks were great, and he was very knowledgeable on where to go for lunch, and even gave us a list of things to order. He definitely did not disappoint!
Oz in New Orleans is one of those vibrant nightlife spots you have to visit. It's lively energetic and a great place to dance the night away. The music keeps the crowd moving and the atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming. The cocktails are well made the people are friendly the bartenders are attentive and fun to interact with. Whether out with friends or exploring the city's nightlife is a great place to stop for a memorable evening.
This was a cute and fun place they didn't play the best music but whenever you're drunk it doesn't really matter I will say management is not helpful and they do misplace things such as IDs and cards I lost both of those in the club which was obviously my fault but luckily the club picked it up The bouncer was very helpful unfortunately I forgot his name the next morning I had gone and he immediately recognized me from my ID which was wonderful he told me the exact color of my debit card that I lost and even my age so I knew it had to be me I was very ecstatic so I only to come back and find out that the manager already "gave it to someone" That's someone being another customer or co-worker I don't know they told me they give it to someone and then they told me they weren't able to find it which sucks but I guess it was my fault just remember that if you lose an ID here they're probably not going to help you The bouncers all of them are very sweet and it's a really cute vibe in there
Great venue, terrible host. We came ready for a fun night out, and the venue itself is awesome. Drinks were good, bartenders were friendly, music was great. But the host, JoJo, completely ruined the energy. She was rude from the moment she walked on stage. Not witty or playful, just straight-up mean and dismissive to the crowd. Instead of hyping people up, she talked down to everyone and relied on sarcasm instead of actual entertainment. On top of that, her whole look was sloppy. Stained tights and worn-out shoes are not a vibe when you’re supposed to be the star of the show. The staff and venue deserve a better performer. I’d come back for another show, but definitely not if JoJo is hosting. She killed the mood and turned a fun night into something we couldn’t wait to leave.
Most entertaining however now everyones cut of tea. Crowd can be loud and not for people who are easily offended. Was there on a weekday and was crowded. There are few shows and dance off competition. I can understand some of the not so good reviews. However if you are open minded, your gonna have a good time here. Will definitely visit if i am in town again.
Incredible first time drag show, loved the ladies of Oz and intimate performance venue. Good service with no pressure to drink, festive crowd. Recommend arriving 15 minutes before the show. Wednesday nights on Bourbon for the win
We stopped in for a drink. Hayden took great care of us. I have been here before with some of my (grown) kids, and they've never forgotten it. Come in, if you're in the area and ask for Hayden!
