Having visited 3 clubs in Portland over the past several years, (TVR, Sanctuary, and Privata,) my partner and I (30s F, 40s M, fit HWP) like TVR the best, and it's the one we've returned to several times in the last year. In our experience, the staff is great--rules are clear, they take consent and cleanliness seriously, they are attentive but not overbearing, and everyone from the door to security to bartenders to attendants have been friendly and welcoming. One of the most enjoyable things about the space is that there is a range of areas so that you can discover, explore, and curate your experience as you wish. The hot tubs are clean and inviting, there are showers so you can rinse off before soaking or clean up after playing, there's a dance floor and lounge to mingle and hang out, and a variety of rooms and play spaces ranging from large public bed to private rooms where you can choose how much to be seen. The lockers are super helpful for changing into your fun outfit or storing supplies if you don't want to carry everything around. Between the hallways, stairwells, and common areas, being here feels like being at a wild, sexy house party, in the best way. As a newcomer, the space is really inviting--there's an open, sexy energy, but if you just want to check things out and gauge the vibe, it's easy to drift between sections of the building and never feel too stuck or exposed if you're initially shy or just curious. Of course, if you are confident and experienced, there's plenty of opportunity to display that. We have found the crowd to be diverse, friendly, engaging, and interesting. There's a range of ages, body types, and personalities that would be familiar to anyone that enjoys all that Portland night life has to offer. We've always met intriguing people, had good conversations, and found attractive connections. Over the past year and a half it seems like the place has only been getting better. Compared to other clubs, TVR feels just right to us--it's not stuffy or exclusive, it's just the right mix of classy and fun. Rather than pushing an "upscale night club" experience, the emphasis at TVR is fun theme nights, costume parties, and events that have something for everyone, as long as you're open-minded and accepting. It feels like no matter whether you're kinky, queer, curious, or just looking for a new "weird Portland" experience, you can be yourself at TVR and find what you're looking for. We're not regulars but we'll definitely be back as long as this community keeps being so positive and enjoyable!

I love this place. I’ve had great experiences here and every time I return there are reasons to come back again. First, the staff and owner are phenomenal. They take care to make sure everyone is safe. I enjoy the drinks and food (huge shout out to the bar tenders on both floors). Hot tubs and pool? Yes please! People respect no, and if they don’t then they are soon removed. I feel comfortable here and I like this place for a night out.

Came in Sunday night for the first time. I was initially concerned about the reviews, but the front staff was great from the moment we arrived until we left. The place was huge, and everyone was warm and welcoming. The staff on the floor kept everything safe and clean. Having the option to dance to a live DJ or relax in the hot tubs with good music was a nice touch. We'll definitely be coming back!

What started out as a pleasant evening with my wife ended in a bad experience due to a very arrogant receptionist. She seemed to have no problem being rude to customers. I decided to end our experience and notify management

I visited for the first time 2 weeks ago and have been back every weekend since. The atmosphere is incredible—I always feel safe and welcomed I love being able to shower after dancing or playing, then relax in one of the hot tubs. It’s the perfect way to unwind
