4.8

Union Seattle stands out as a welcoming and laid-back spot for socializing, blending a relaxed atmosphere with a friendly crowd. The service is consistently praised, with attentive bartenders and a warm, engaging staff that makes every visit effortless. It’s an ideal place for small groups to unwind, whether grabbing a drink or sharing hearty, well-priced food—like standout dishes such as the chicken pesto pizza and crispy cheese curds.

The venue balances casual charm with thoughtful touches, from cozy holiday decor to a covered patio for outdoor gatherings. While the music leans toward classic gay bar staples, the ambiance remains inviting, though noise levels can make conversations challenging in busier moments. A reliable choice for easygoing nights out, it excels as a social hub for chats, sports, and laid-back vibes—though occasional crowd dynamics may not suit every preference.

Union Seattle is a great stop for bar hopping on a night out. The vibe is fun and welcoming, the staff is great, and the bartenders are friendly, fast, and engaging—exactly what you want when you’re out with friends. It’s an easy place to pop in for a drink, stay longer than planned, and then move on to the next spot. Solid energy, good service, and a reliable go-to in Seattle’s nightlife scene.

Oh hell yes. I love this place. Been here a couple times. Their service is amazing! I usually just order vodka shots so I don’t have an opinion about their drinks but their FOOD…. Is so good! It was $12 for eight wings and $13 for a sandwich. I was expecting it to be pretty mid considering it’s just a bar, but the food was actually so tasty and enjoyable. After tip and tax, I only paid $28 for the food for my partner and I. The bartenders are also very attentive and nice which is always appreciated.

The chicken pesto pizza is absolutely five star material. The cheese curds are the classiest mozzarella sticks. Worth it! Christian hit the nail on the head with the recommendation. And he provides great service.

Was visiting for the weekend and mistakenly went to a door that was not the bar entrance. Only to be aggressively screamed at by the bouncer, who was not at his post where the first gate is when you walk in. When I had apologized for not knowing where to go he rolled his eyes and scoffed at me. While this is a bar that I would absolutely go to and enjoy, I won't be coming back nor would recommend. Generally don't go to gay bars on my own because it's out of my comfort zone and this interaction made it even more uncomfortable, on top of feeling embarrassed from the looks of strangers for being yelled at. I've worked over 8 years in customer service and have never once felt the need to yell at someone, scoff at them, or roll my eyes. Maybe because it was Valentine's day, it had been a crazy night, but that's no excuse on how to treat guests. Unfortunate night.

Just ok. The music is repetitive and stereotypical of a gay bar - not necessarily bad not my thing. The service is mid - bartenders ignored my partner and I for over 5 minutes to prioritize talking with one of their friends. It can be very loud if you are looking for a place for a conversation. The crowd is cliquey and surprisingly unfriendly to non-cis folks. I give three stars because some folks will have fun there. Im not saying you shouldn’t go - you should! Just keep your expectations low.

Union has become a solid go-to for fun easy casual friendly environment vibes and small group meet ups, this is not a dance bar it’s a chat and maybe grab an order of decent diner type food w a friend or ten, they do a great job w holiday decor and have a variety of spaces in the venue including a covered patio w fountain and fireplace - overall cozy and fun, not overly sexual vibes at all, more sports bar adjacent than anything - curiously the ownership is heterosexual so if that is important for you just know that

We visited this bar to watch RuPauls Drag Race. The crowd was not very welcoming (a bunch of pretentious ppl tbh). We ordered food and it was good, it arrived sooner than expected. The staff was attentive and polite but it was almost impossible to watch the show. There were not enough speakers or the volume was too low. The only place where you could actually listen was on the section on the right with a big screen
