Affordable shots, beautiful spaces!! Different rooms were playing different music. The main floor had an option to request a song. I didn't love the music selection though, it was hard to keep a vibe going. When the room is fully packed, there wasn't much you could do but stand around, and where we did have some dancing room, the music was all wack. Anyway, love lesbians and hope to come back for a better time!!
Worst gay bar I went to in DC. Came in from out of town, was excited since it was a roughly themed sports-lesbian bar. The bartenders were inattentive and very loud. Had to shout over them multiple times just to talk to my girlfriend on the bar stool next to me, to the point I had to move to the opposite side of the establishment. Got especially ticked off when both of the bartenders decided to stand in front of the TV and block my view while the women's basketball game was on. Do that at any male sports bar and you would get cussed out. The map of lesbian bars is also really outdated, missing a lot of new bars that opened (Danis in Boston), and a lot of them that have closed down. Also the bathroom not having a door so close to the kitchen is so disgusting. Never coming here again, there are so many better gay bars in the neighborhood.
ew this bar was gross. the security person at the front didn't let us put our bag of food in the cubbies at the front with no explanation, but proceeded to let a white girl put her bag there after. the drinks were below mediocre and the bartenders were not friendly or welcoming at all. There was another lesbian couple of color that my girlfriend and I met there and they were also having a not good time. Place was full of a mix of clearly underage teenagers, old people, and straight guys questioning why there were so many lesbians that lmao i would not recommend anyone come to this place
Uninspiring drinks, rude, inattentive staff (except for one of the people at the door who was reasonably nice), music curation was abysmal and sports = just playing a channel on the TVs with mostly ads. Nothing about this place is well thought-out or curated. Soda gun was down which isn't their fault, but why pass me a menu which I can't order any cocktails from because of this malfunction, and then have your colleague be rude about it? Vibes were bad all around. Lesbian bars are already having a hard enough time- let's not do this.
A fantastic place! One of the last 30 lesbian bars in the country, and one of two in DC! It was packed and hot for World Pride, but it was a great time and worth the wait! We even sat for a game of Mario Kart by the bar! Definitely recommend for your DC trip
So my friends and I went here after hearing how welcoming they’d be….they were not. I don’t know what happened but the female security slammed the door in our faces instead of communicating why we couldn’t enter through the door that was visibly open. Definitely not a safe space and they need to do better because other people saw what she did and was in equal shock.
This is the place to be if you are gay mostly ladies, but everyone is welcome. Bartenders were fantastic, dance floor was poppin. First time here, they hit it outta the park. 🥎Definitely will be back!
