Sea Shell Inn Motel - Corpus Christi Beach

Felt bad about giving this review. The employee who serviced us was very nice and helpful, and made it less stressful to get checked in! We noticed some really bad ware on the concrete immediately though, there was caution tape and there appeared to be freshly fallen concrete on the ground, very dangerous. We got in our rooms and yikes. Talk about run down. Peeled paint, broken televisions, a weird odor about the place and broken appliances. And then the cockroaches waltzied in. We were in and out in an hour! Sad cute old places like this aren’t getting more care.

Very affordable for being right on the beach of Corpus Christi Bay. Parked my car on the first day, and walked everywhere. The owners were a husband and wife team, and they were super nice and helpful. The sattelite tv service was out, and they immediately came to repair it. It's an older motel-style, and had a few cosmetic issues, but no big deal.

The cottage #7 was full of roaches. Got up at 2am to use the restroom and receive the scare of my life had to sleep with the lights on, so the roaches wouldn’t come back out but then again I couldn’t even sleep 😤 🪳

Positive: The view and convinenance to the beach Negative: The room was dirty looking and the shower didn’t work

If there was less than 1 star I would givethem one. Rooms were the worse Ive ever seen, I had to remove spiderweb and kill three black widow, pillows had mold and yellow stains, bed sheets were disgusting,dirty and stinky too. That place is falling apart I do not know how the city hasn't shut it down

This place is falling down how is this place still open? The floors are falling there is a caution tape under neath where the parking is. It is falling down why would they let anyone stay here. Do not book here. It is near the beach but it is not safe at all. Deteriorating and probably mold. LOOK AT PICS WITH CAUTION TAPE FROM FLOOR/ROOF FALLING DOWN

Perfect Family Getaway!" We had the most amazing time at this beachfront hotel! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the sand—and the ocean view from our room was breathtaking. Our kids loved the shallow, clean beach and the fun play area. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend for families with young children!
