The Gold Fish

We were in town for an comedy show. Ms. Taylor took great care of us. We mentioned we wanted a bite to eat and she offered food recommendations. She whipped up a few of their signature cocktails for us. They had the freshest garnishes for their drinks. There was a food truck outside so we got snacks from there. It was the perfect spot for an appetizer and bevs before the show. Highly recommend if you are looking for a chill spot when in town.

Gold Fish is easily my favorite bar in Corpus. Best Old Fashioned in town, no question—and the rest of the cocktails are just as solid. The bartenders know what they’re doing and always take care of you. Real laid-back vibe, good music, and just an all-around great spot to unwind. If you go, ask about the cucumber-infused waters—sounds fancy, but it’s actually super refreshing. Can’t beat this place.

Great spot in Corpus. There doesn’t appear to be many good cocktail bars in Corpus, but I reckon this is the best. Great drinks, nice atmosphere, at reasonable price. Would absolutely return.

For this visit, we stopped here for cocktails and debriefing. This was an excellent choice (though we wished they at least had an appetizers menu). The open space seating is amazing, and the lighted faux tree outside gives the space a cool vibe.

In downtown corpus you will not find a better place to drink. There are two bar areas and a cute outdoor patio. The inside is a former dry cleaner and quite small but air conditioned. I love drinking here. No food is available, but with it being so close to several restaurants it’s the perfect beginning to a date night or girls night.

Drinks are super delicious and just the right price. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.
