Presque Isle: Beach 10 Budny

Beautiful, some may disagree. I would love to have it to myself and not tell anyone about this gem. Sand, water and beach goers. You can take a tethered toy like a boogie board in the water but no loose items like a beach ball or football. You are only to swim when a lifeguard is on duty. Large free parking lots, changing area and restrooms available. There WAS a snack shack but I have not seen it open this year. There are a limited number of grills and picnic tables.

Gorgeous view of the Lake and the skyline of Eerie. Very peaceful and plenty of places to park and enjoy the great outdoors. The sand is soft and clean and the water itself doesn’t seem like a lake. It’s like being next to the ocean. Such a nice beach to picnic at and enjoy the sounds of nature and appreciate the beauty of Eerie that’s tucked away on the Isle.

You can't go wrong at presque isle beaches; however, what kept this beach from getting 5 stars was the amount of rocks you had to walk through to get to the sand in the water. This beach did have a lot of areas for people to lay out their towels without feeling overly crowded. There are a lot of areas that offer shade from the trees without leaving the beach and there were bathrooms. The parking lot was big enough that finding a spot wasn't an issue. It was a beautiful day and the water was really clear.

What a new experience. There are two different consistencies of sand before you reach the lake, and then once you're in the lake, it's gravel, which can be easily seen through the clean, clear water of Lake Erie.

Parking area was large, the road to get in was easy to navigate. Bathrooms nearby and an easy walk to the beach area. The beach itself is a sight to see. The sand was generally clean no trash. Some driftwood but I think it adds to the beauty.

Presque Isle State Park is a true gem for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Located on the shores of Lake Erie, the park offers stunning views and a variety of recreational activities. The beaches are clean and inviting, perfect for sunbathing or swimming during the summer months. I enjoyed exploring the numerous trails, which provide excellent opportunities for hiking, biking, and birdwatching. The scenery is breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset when the colors reflect beautifully on the water. The park is well-maintained, with picnic areas and facilities that enhance the overall experience. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or an active day outdoors, Presque Isle has something for everyone. It's a wonderful destination that showcases the natural beauty of the region. Highly recommend!

This is a nice beach with nice sand. Also a few picknick tables on the beach. There are lifeguards on duty certain times of the year. It does have restrooms with changing facilities but NO showers . There’s no garbage cans by the pick Nick tables either. There is plenty of parking.
