Cape Florida Beach

Always beautiful, calm and mostly not crowded. Never miss the sunset if you around here. Lot of parking, shelter and beach access nearby. Always clean and safe.

I loved key Biscayne. I got a bus as far as I could and then walked through the state park and down to the lighthouse on the beach. I walked the full length of the east coast back up before jumping on a bus back across the bridge to the mainland. Beautiful island. Plenty of public restrooms. No alcohol allowed so it is not a rowdy beach. I felt safe on my own and leaving my things on the beach to pop into the inviting waters. Numerous hiking trails. Lots of sea turtle nests up and down the beach which was a nice surprise. Clearly marked so you do not disturb them. A cafe by the lighthouse and numerous up the beach also. Would definitely visit again if I am ever back in Miami 😊

Took some time to leave. The guards were holding up traffic. I had to walk all the way back to the entrance because they wouldn’t let any cars in for a while. I think this beach is nice though. Pretty chill, no waves. 🌊 I like to come here with my friends. It’s always a good time! Do make sure you bring sunscreen and lather yourself with it…

The location is a little remote, but the beaches are beautiful and worth the extra drive to get there. The park fee is $8. There was plenty of parking. We rented two beach chairs and an umbrella for $40. There is also a cafe within walking distance that serves bar-type fare, which was super convenient.

Beautiful beach, it was my first time there and I must say it was very nice. The water was clear and the sand was white. I went there on a Friday and there was not many people in the morning through the afternoon. I enjoyed my visit and hope to come back soon!

We visited this beautiful beach and rented an umbrella and some chairs for cash. Had a good time, but have to report an unfortunate incident. The man collecting money for the umbrellas who was driving an ATV, and had a shirt on that said "STAFF" stole my friend's phone. The phone went missing when we went in the water. We saw the man with a phone so we found him and asked him about it. He pretended to not speak English, but when we pressed him, he pulled out my friend's phone from a container on his ATV. He had turned the phone off. There were other phones in the container. Just pure, brazen theft. The guy had zero explanation or apology and just walked away. We laughed about it after, but were lucky to have confronted him. Be careful out there!

Go here to miss the crowded beaches of Miami, and enjoy peaceful, relaxation by a lighthouse! Plenty of convenient parking and friendly beach staff to rent chairs and umbrellas from. Rental rates are ~$30 for a daily a combo of chairs and an umbrella. Restrooms nearby too. We went here on a weekday morning and left that afternoon. umbrellas and chairs were mostly taken by 12:30 but plenty of space left across the beach to enjoy a good time.
