Boats blasting music, if you want a quiet place to enjoy nature, swim in pristine water and have a relaxed vibe this is not the place to go, bay is polluted. Boats park over the sandbar disturbing marine wildlife.
Sometimes it gets pretty packed and with a bunch of loud little kids. If you want to relax, Nixon Beach is a hot or miss. If you’ve never been, it’s definitely time to go.
