Lake Park Tollgate

I love going fishing there, and grill out, it was quite and relaxing, sadly that day only got one fish, lol but always enjoy going there

How are people so slow at swiping their card and driving through a gate? It takes people several minutes per car to do that which means on a Saturday you'll wait 45 minutes just to get through the gate to the boat ramp. It's ridiculous.

This can be such a long experience waiting in line. They put a new kiosk in last year yet it hasn’t worked for us once since the install. On sundays if there is no toll house keeper, you may wait in 45 minutes to enter the park. It seems to take each car about 10 minutes to figure out how to get it. This shouldn’t be a difficult process but they have absolutely failed to make this straight forward & streamlined.

I am a resident of Lewisville and the parking meter at the front gate does not give an option on $3 entry for residents. I am not going to pay $10 when I live in Lewisville so I simply left. They need to update the system.

It was all fantastic besides the people with the jet skis not respecting people fishing from the bank as you can see in my videos

To whoever runs this park, HIRE SOMEBODY TO WORK AT THE ENTRANCE GATE ON SUNDAYS!! The wait is a joke and many people needed assistance.
