American Pop! Midtown

Just came to browse, was looking for a train case. I got a great big kick of walking around this place. All the signs and nostalgia items are pretty cool. There were a lot of retro dishes in the outdoor area. I kinda like this place, it seemed more like an art installation than an antique shop, very much in the style of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse and a White Zombie/ Rob Zombie music video (More Human than Human).

This man is an artist! I came during my birthday trip and this place was absolutely the highlight of my trip! I had a great time going through the maze that is this store looking at all the interesting items hiding in every nook and cranny. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA YOU NEED TO COME HERE!!! Everything is also very reasonably priced. I spent around $30-$40 but left knowing all the things I bought are absolutely priceless gems. The trophies that he makes are hands down the best items in the store, and I had so much fun going on a scavenger hunt to find them sprinkled all throughout the store. All things said and done I will be stopping here every time I pass through mobile. This place is truly so magical

A store full of nice items. Selection is outstanding. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Will come back to see what's new.

Horrible customer service I called to see if they would like to buy some very old antique dolls and whoever answered the phone was very disrespectful by hanging up in my face after i asked "how are you doing" 1 star all across the board /MAY GOD BLESS 🙏🏾

Recently returned for another visit to the shop. Been a while since was there. Greatly improved. Love the place. Enjoyed browsing and bought some great items. Went back in to browse more and found just what I was looking for. Way in the back. Will be returning soon. Very friendly patrons. Had nice conversations with 3 guys. We had mutual interests and they were very interested in sharing finds and experiences. Hope to return soon.

This place is more like an amusement ride than it is an antique store. Filled with all kinds of interesting junk packed to the rafters it winds around inside and outside. The owner is a very friendly. Prices are a bit high though
