Lucas School House - The Creative Culture Collider

We hosted my mother's birthday party at Lucas School House back in October, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The space itself was perfect. We had about 50 guests, and the layout and size easily accommodated everyone without feeling cramped—there was plenty of room for mingling, food stations, and dancing. The real highlight, however, was the service provided by Chelsea, the event coordinator. Before booking, I had several detailed questions, and Chelsea was incredibly prompt and helpful, responding to all my online inquiries quickly and thoroughly. This made the planning process stress-free. On the day of the event, she was physically present and attentive, checking in occasionally to make sure we didn't need anything, which was such a comfort. My mom was over the moon and actually said it was the best party she has ever had! We are so grateful to the venue and especially to Chelsea for making it such a successful and memorable celebration. We will absolutely be reaching back out to book this venue for our next big family gathering! Highly, highly recommend!

Renting the Lucas schoolhouse for our event was the best decision we ever made. Abraham and his team were more than welcoming as we prepared for my daughter’s baby shower. This space is perfect. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing with stunning artwork. The main floor has tall ceilings, gorgeous wood floors, huge mirrors, and beautiful natural light. There are plenty of options for event planning. Having the ability to bring our own food and decorations was wonderful!…Add to that a great location and excellent communication! I would used this space again!! Don’t miss out!! A STL treasure.

We had the most amazing time here. Our young ladies had a dance recital here and I can say the atmosphere was so incredible from the first walk through! Before the day of recital, Chelsea made sure to communicate effectively with me and made the day a successful one by paying close attention to what we needed. Thank you Lucas School House! We hope to see you in the future!!!

Chelsea was AMAZING! She met us early. Let us in early. SHE EVEN MADE THE COFFEE!! (instead of just providing the coffee maker). The floor was perfect. Sound system superb. Already booked my next event!

Lucas School House was the perfect spot to host my sister’s baby shower. Abraham throughout the planning process and Angela was a great day of coordinator. The venue is beautiful and has a natural charm. Would highly recommend.

Lucas Schoolhouse is a fantastic historic venue, with modern updates that make for a great event space. The charm of classic woodwork, stained-glass windows, and sculptures, along with updated sound damping treatment and lighting creates a very warm and inviting space. The staff were kind, great to work with, and very responsive. We hosted a super successful swing dance with a live band, and are looking forward to many more at Lucas Schoolhouse!

Lucas School House was amazing for my college fraternity formal. The space is perfect for serving food as well as dancing. Our crowd was roughly 100 people and it did not feel crowded or too empty. The staff shine here with their willingness to help and quick communication. We had issues with our caterers missing supplies like ice and plates and the staff rushed to help us. They even ran to a nearby convenience store to grab ice to ensure a smooth evening. There were some auto issues but the staff was amazing in problem-solving. I would love to see my student group use this venue in the future.
