We just saw Deathtrap. Great performance in the perfect venue. This is our second time at this theatre and we’ve decided to be season ticket holders. It’s simply the best of everything.

Great local theater scene with fantastic talent! Some of the booths have cushions and some don't. I recommend bringing something to sit on in case you're in the back. There are no bad seats for seeing the shows though!

Stray Dog Theatre is one of our favorite places to enjoy live performances—not just because of the amazing shows, but because of the incredible people who make every visit special. We especially want to shout out Gary, who goes above and beyond every single time. From helping us with handicap accessible seating to answering any questions we have (no matter how small), Gary is always kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. His warm and helpful nature truly sets the tone for the entire experience. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel so welcome and cared for—Gary and the staff is a big part of why we keep coming back. The venue itself is cozy, and full of heart. Whether you're catching a powerful drama or a lively musical, you can count on Stray Dog Theatre to deliver unforgettable performances in a welcoming environment. Thank you to everyone at the theater—and especially to Gary—for making every night out feel like something special!

My first visit to watch an opera. Small theater with a great view from all sears. Drinks and snacks are for sale. A super place to enjoy theater up close!

Sweeney Todd was such a spectacular performance! It was my first time seeing this production company and first time being at Tower Grove Abbey. The venue was really neat and the actors played out some of the scenes off stage and within the aisles. It made me feel like I was part of the scenes; like I was a bystander in London watching these interactions play out. It was truly magical! I cannot wait to see more shows by SDT!! , I highly recommend checking out this very talented company! (p.s. I suggest wearing layers. It was cold at first in there and then got hotter as the night progressed)

We went to Mouse Trap by Stray Dog Theater tonight and had a really fun time. Cast was all good and the Agatha Christie mystery has a surprising twist at the end. Venue was really cool and full of interesting looking people. Very inviting and relaxing atmosphere where you can choose your own seat and enjoy an adult beverage while watching the show. Loved it!
