Comfort Suites Beachfront

I came in with modest expectations, but this Comfort Suites really impressed me. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, but the real standout was the breakfast. It was easily the best I’ve had in this class of hotel. Chris, one of the breakfast attendants, mentioned that the potatoes were made from his grandmother’s recipe, and they were genuinely special. That personal touch made the whole stay memorable.

The lobby area is VERY smelly of stale cigarette smoke. The rooms were clean enough but were extremely dated. The door to the balcony was hard to open because of the lock. The location is perfect and convenient to everything. The bedroom was very tight so little room for luggage. Parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast didn't start until 7, so was too late to take advantage of...that was my main issue.

While we enjoyed our stay, the building is dated and could use some refreshing. However, the mattress was extremely comfortable. A huge complement to Vicki and Chris in the Breakfast room. The eggs were excellent and Chris is such a happy man. He made our breakfast very enjoyable. He is an asset to this hotel.

The Staff were so kind and welcoming. The room was much larger than I expected. It was like a suite. My bedroom was on the right as soon as i walked in, then the bathroom which was very large and functional and then the living room which faced the Ocean. There was a door that lead out to the balcony with a great view of the Ocean. There was a TV in the bedroom as well as in the living room. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The breakfast was fantastic!! They had eggs, bacon and sausage, different breads, fruit, hash browns, oatmeal, juices and coffee!! I liked this hotel a lot and will definitely stay here again !!

It wasn’t bad, just average. I did get a good rate due to a wedding discount block. Breakfast hot food wasn’t good, coffee was below average. But at least there was yogurt and a great view. Bed was excellent! Room was clean, but showed some wear. The shower door leaked bad, had to use multiple towels to dry that up. Front desk attendant was nice.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past ten+ years. We were there in April 2025 and again just this past week (9/29-10/3). The hotel is in dire need of some updates/remodeling. Peeling ceilings, worn carpet and furniture, rusted doors that are very difficult to open and shut plus only one elevator in operation. Although you claim to be a smoke free hotel there was definitely cigarette smoke odor in the lobby and multiple days we smelled marijuana from someone in a room around us. We could not sit out on our balcony and bc of the high wind conditions it blew the horrible smell into our room. The hotel still has one bright spot and that is the hot breakfast prepared and served by Chris. He was the reason we chose to give the hotel one more try after our visit earlier this spring. He is friendly and very welcoming to all. He is attentive to the needs of the guests. We enjoyed meeting him and watching him interact with all the guests.

The set up of the suite is perfect. One person can sleep, while others can watch TV in the other room with a sink and counter area. 2 people can easily get ready with this set up. Loved the view as well. The staff was helpful and pleasant . The parking garage attendant was especially helpful in helping us park our large SUV and in recommending nearby restaurants.
