Camp Cherry Valley

Great Boy Scout camp that I went to with my son for cub Scouts. The staff here is exceptionally helpful and cheerful. The energy they give off even affected my "cool" 9 year old. The food here is hearty and flavorful and quite filling. Definitely one of the best "camp foods" that I've had. Activities are varied and help a budding Scout on his way to self discovery and service.

It was so exciting as a Boy Scout and I loved the atmosphere and activities especially snorkeling and kayaking but we were in pack 408 so our area was super duper cold. 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

It was an amazing time I can tell that the staff really wanted to be there and we were treating amazingly you showers and bathrooms were clean all the time everything was very organized and I felt like we were always being kept track of and being kept safe it was an amazing catch good for anyone.

Been here a week and I couldn't be happier, nature at it's best! The weather is amazing, the facilities are not new but it they comfortable and cozy. Love this place!!!

This was my favorite summer camp I visited in all my years of scouting. The staff were hilarious and so friendly. The food wasn't bad, and the views were incredible. This was the summer camp that helped me make that last step to the eagle scout rank. If your troop has the chance, I highly recommend coming here.

We did a Boy Scout 2 week camp back in 1969. It was a great experience and had a lot of camping experiences. Our troop 217 was a very active group doing a hike/camp every month to build up to a 50 mile in and back along the John Muir trail in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Lots of fun memories.

I know in the early 80's it was AWESOME, I went there for summer camp as a teen with the Boys & Girls club. But back then, the cove was completely dedicated to the camp, for swimming, skiing, kayaking, row and paddle boats, snorkeling and even spear fishing was never ANY outside boats.
