A smallish park - Fairly bare bones, but a nice little green space- useful if you want to stretch your legs or walk your dog.
Nice fields. Very well maintained. A little confusing having the two different parking lots but they're close together that it doesn't make much difference.
This is a large two part park that is connected. It has a short walking trail connector. This park has several ball diamonds & portable potties. Sadly no walking trail other than a short connector.
This park always has issues. I know the park cannot control the weather but lately even after a light rain the games are cancelled. How long does it take to get the fields ready? How many staff are available to work on the fields? We have had 5 games scheduled so far this year and have only played 1! Get a grounds crew that cares about those that pay money to play. We also would like the bases to be in the correct spot! Seems like some of the diamonds have second base back to far. Get it together!
06/29 , time at park 4:30 EST DANGEROUS PEOPLE BEHIND PARK Walked into the fields in the middle of the three parking lots. My dogs went to the creek for water. I came across a large completely naked black male stroking himself who then started to walk towards me before I jogged off. Called cops. Last time I was here I saw 2 guys in that same creek smoking and walking through the tunnel to their camp. Where are the police? Why is Cville full of these transients who are not even from the us? Who are these people ? This is a park for kids to play sports and there is the bike path right through the woods there. The government has failed completely.
There are 8 baseball fields and a children's play area outdoors. Two of the baseball fields have floodlights for evening games. Only 2-3 fields are in good shape. One would expect better field maintenance for the reservation fee they charge which is higher than average in the Columbus metro area. Portable toilets are available on both sides of the park but not cleaned during the day.
Not a bad place to play softball. The fields are dirt but nicely kept. Parking only becomes an issue when all fields are being played on. Some people got yelled at for parking in the grass although there where no parking spots available. Also if your not familiar with the fields there aren't well visible signs showing you which entrance for which field. There is two different entrances and no you can not pull into one and get to the other side. You will have to go back to the main drag to find the other fields.
