Blackie Chesher Park

Was really surprised at how big this park was while walking around. The park has a little bit of everything, from multiple playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields, to even paths that you can take to walk. All of the paths are paved, which are nice if you have a child in a stroller. Multiple bathrooms and portapotties around too near major traffic areas. It’s very nicely taken care of, and you can tell the city put some money into the quality of this park!

This is one of the many fields for all sports! Nice walking path. Walkin distance to food and drinks.

Love this park, super clean friendly people just love it.

I love going to this park to take my daughter to the new playground. It's a bit littered but fun for the kiddos. Lately I've been going in the late afternoon for a walk and have noticed the park is very dark. The pathways are awesome,we have walked all around the paths and if you go at sundown some of those pathways are kinda scary to walk alone.

The female restroom NEEDS improvement. The stall doors don’t close, they’re too wide, there’s NEVER soap in the dispenser. The trash cans by the playground are ALWAYS overflowing with trash. Today I saw the cleaning company pick up trash, but they didn’t touch those 🤷🏻‍♀️. There’s a lot of trash in the playground. The city does a good job maintaining the landscape, but I honestly think that has more to do with the fields being used for soccer during the weekends. Overall, I would like my city taxes being better used to upkeep the WHOLE park for the community.

Nice large park. Great softball fields. Family friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Lots of space. Frequent events. Nice walking paths as well
