The female staff is awesome. Working hard to keep machines and floor properly sanitize, And being diligent and cordial to incoming clients. The girls get 4 stars for their Awesome work, I saw one of them showing an older gentleman how to use a QR Code on a machine. The male staff could try using less visual and vocal skills and do some manual quantifiable work... Gym gas a great atmosphere, respectful guest/clients and a ton of brand NEW gym equipment great place to train or recover from injuries 🙂

This is a great place to workout. I feel safe and it's very welcoming! The staff is very well trained and helps me when I'm lost! I love how attentive they are to the members and to keeping the areas clean! The new manager has really made some changes because a few months ago I wouldn't step foot in those showers! Now they are sparkling!

Wow! I had a few doubts, because of some older rough reviews, related to location, cleanliness, etc, although I finally just went in… Absolutely delightful experience! Everything is immaculately clean, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the facility is impressive. The Black Card spa amenities are next level; tanning, message chairs, and even red light therapy! I don’t typically leave reviews, although, especially at the price point, this place is undeniably excellent! "Just do it!"

The people at this gym are top notch. I have met some amazing humans & strengthened my body since joining this gym. They just did a revamp of the equipment. There is so much variety to work any and all parts of your body. Staff is wonderful, love them all! They are always cleaning, smiling, having great conversations and super helpful. The location has some equipment challenges to work through but the manager is on top of business. I have had the opportunity to work out at other Planet Fitness locations and so far this is the best one, glad it's my home base!

As an older guy that is use to old meathead style of gym I was a little concerned on rather they would have good equipment for lifting heavy. To my surprise the gym is well equipped for lifting real weight! It is oddly quiet which was hard to get use to but once you do it’s ok. The new remodel gives a better cardio to weights ratio for sure. There are a couple machines I wish they had more than one of so there isn’t as long of a wait. The new manager and staff are super friendly. They may not know your name but definitely remember you and will have a friendly chat. Bottom line is DO NOT expect this gym to be what it isn’t meant to be! If you want to drop weights and grunt like you’re Ronnie Coleman don’t come here because thats not this place. For a good place with nice people at a cheap price, this is the spot!

A lot of credit to the investment made by PF on the new equipment and variety it provides to all members! The new Manager has had an incredibly positive impact on the staff and customers/members. The result is positive perception, smiles, and a clean facility. The attention to this detail and people aspect goes a long way and a great value for the low cost. I look forward to going to the gym at Planet Fitness, and a level of satisfaction in my workouts that I have not gotten at other gyms. Great job to Planet Fitness and the staff y'all!

As a member on and off for five years now, I have to say despite the Eugene West 11th location in a low ranked neighborhood with a high homeless population, this gym has gone to great lengths to keep their bathrooms and locker areas clean. They got a new night crew that is attentive friendly and constantly busy keeping things well maintained and presentable. This has not always been the case so I really appreciate the changes they have made. New equipment was added in 2025 including a new layout and better space planning to accommodate busier times. They added virtual bikes stair climbers more treadmills and a full room with its own squatting and dead lift area. They also listened to customer input about adding a second free weights area as the previous one was over crowded in the afternoons and evenings. The crowd meter on the app helps members decide on what times work best for their comfort. After the New YMCA opened in South Eugene nearby 2 years ago the crowding issue has all but vanished. Today I have a better experience at Planet Fitness in Eugene than I do at the 43 million dollar YMCA. Good job Planet. Keep up the good work. Side note. If you leave valuables unattended in lockers without locks they WILL get stolen. This is a high crime area and I myself lost car keys and workout items to theft here. Lock up or keep keys and phone on your person.
