Osprey Cove RV Park

This place was nice. The price was amazing! I would really have liked a fire pit, but other than that it was top tier ❤️.

Both RV parks at Mayport navy base are awesome. Both are quiet, clean and not super close to the neighbors. Osprey cove has amazing shade trees at pretty much every spot. We had spot 19. Backs up to the woods and we had some pretty friendly raccoons and armadillos.

We used to live in Osprey Cove in a mobile home back in the mid-80s when we were stationed at Mayport. It is wonderful to see it developed into an RV park again. We stayed at Pelicans Roost but did a drive by Osprey Cove to walk down memory lane! Awesome place looks great

The campground is nice but the cabins are not. This was always my go to place because I love the base. #1 is down for repairs just leaving 2&3. #2 is a handicap cabin and since I have knee injuries I went in there. My visits here in years past have always been pleasant but not this time. The wifi is intermittent in the cabin and the tv stations are very limited. I complained that the sofa, which is fabric, has stains all over it. Its pretty nasty and is also very uncomfortable. The bathroom mirror, which is set up for someone in a wheel chair, is very low and you must stoop to use it. A taller mirror would fix the problem. Also with all the windstorms we've had lately you would think that they would come blow off the porch amd the handicap ramp. They used to do it but not now. Given all these issues the price of $76 is reasonable but don't expect much. There was no work being done on #1 so I guess it will be down a long time. #3 is probably the best choice. Was supposed.to be here for a month. Left after 11 days, won't return. MWR isn't what it used to be.

My favorite camp ground so far. So relaxed. My favorite part is watching the little children play together like a neighbor should.

RV Park Osprey Cove at NAS Mayport is ONLY available to active military, reserves, DOD and retired member or family members as well as those with special access DBIDS. The beach and all kids parks are within walking distance. The RV hook-up are 50 amp only so you will need a 30 amp adaptor for smaller units and all sites are FULL HOOK-up water/sewer with picnic tables and a concrete pad. The sites are well maintained, grass cut, limbs picked up, and a washer/dryer area. This is an awesome military campground with great hosts and staff. Highly recommended and a pleasure to live here.

So far so good, this place is beautiful with a lot of room for RVs and extra parking for cars. It's quiet and clean. About to stay here for 6 months so will see if we like it here longterm!
