Dennison Park

Beautiful sunset, there is a nice overlook of ojai. The camping spots don't have a lot of privacy or shade but there was only one other camper when I was there so things were pretty quiet. Not a lot to do in this park, it has a small playground and picnic area. Camp host was very nice and helpful. It is a good place to stay a night or two as it is quite close to town and some beautiful hiking but not really a destination in of itself

It was out first time camping in Ojai and ny first time since my boy scout days almost 30 years ago now. So we wanted to pick a place that had all the amenities we wre looking for, one being clean and accessible restrooms. We got site 5, which had a great view of the mountain. The site was large enough for our three person tent, and mid-sized SUV. Site also came with a bench and fire pit. Ours had a tree which was a plus for shade. The campgrounds is on a hill and the sites are situated progressively in higher areas. The campgrounds are very peaceful. The stars are elite. Everyone has great camping etiquette. Dane, the campgrounds managet was the best part of the experience. He was very attentive, checking in on us throught our stay (2 nights). He takes great care of the grounds and it shows. Overall, 10/10 experience. We will be back. Thank you Dane for a great experience!

Great campground and an awesome host to match. Dane helped us get setup with a great campsite after we had accidentally picked a not so great spot. The camp ground was quiet and serene with beautiful views of the valley. You felt remote enough to unplug but still had great service and clean bathroom nearby. It was perfect long weekend for us and our dog. Just what the doctor ordered.

We camped here for one night and booked 15. Great spacious site for the dogs to roam around! We were able to see the rocket launch at night so that was pretty awesome! It’s a bit dusty but at least there are wood chips mixed in so it wasn’t too bad. Bring a brush if you have dogs. The ground keeper was friendly and reminded people to come watch the rocket launch. It’s pretty closed to Ojai downtown.

Such a great experience with beautiful views. The camp host was so nice, stopped by a few times to make sure we were good , gave us good camping tips. He also helped the people who were camping next to us set up their tent. We got a nice shady spot & really enjoyed our time there. We also made a new friend, this praying mantis hung out with us the whole time. We will definitely be going back next time

Dennison Park Campground is truly a hidden gem in Ojai! The atmosphere here feels so peaceful and spiritual, surrounded by beautiful scenery that makes you want to stay forever. We stayed at Lot 15, and it was absolutely perfect – spacious, serene, and with such a wonderful view. A very special thanks goes to Dayne, the campground manager. He is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made our experience even more enjoyable. His kindness really adds to the warm, inviting energy of this place. If you’re looking for a campsite that’s not only beautiful but also filled with positive vibes and great hospitality, Dennison Park is the spot. Can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at this campground for 5 nights. Great space, simple, clean and functional, immersed in nature, along with a very caring host that ensures your comfort. I experienced the same neighbours one night that Jaileen Kapel recently left a review mentioning. The party was a couple campsites from me and did make some noise late in the evening, something that was not abnormal for some people's lifestyles, in which a set of earplugs could easily fix, as i was in a tent. All around safe and enjoyable stay. This is a great place to camp near Ojai if you want something out of town with an epic view and to enjoy nature. I utilized an electric pedal bike for transportation and had a great time biking the area during my stay, with a great vantage point from Dennison Camp.
