West Hollywood Park

I live in West Hollywood and I absolutely love this park. It’s got great basketball courts, two dog parks, pickle ball, swimming, a fantastic gym, a library, easy parking, and you can walk to Santa Monica Blvd. I bring my pups here almost every day.

The Park is a nice, well-maintained space perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. It offers great facilities, including a modern playground, courts, and a dog park. The green spaces are a good option to relax and the park often hosts community events. Its location is convenient, with plenty of nearby amenities.

Beautiful and peaceful. Clean environment. Parking is a bit pricey but worth it.

I love this park before there is security so I feel safe. The park is well lit and there is a nearby parking garage. I play my gong here sometimes and I like that there is a lot of foot traffic from people going to the bars, restaurants, and clubs nearby.

The newly renovated West Hollywood Park looks fantastic. It's not a huge park but manage to include a series of amenities and really feels like a place for the community. Around the beautiful green space is a short trail with some benches. West Hollywood library and Rec Center are on one side of the park, so is a small playground; on the other side are the dog park and basketball practice courts. There is a unisex restroom near the dog park. The park also got a great view of the design center across the street.

West Hollywood Park offers a fantastic atmosphere! However, the lighting could use some improvement. The park currently uses an ultra-bright light powered by a generator, which is overwhelmingly bright and directly intrusive. It’s bright enough to light up a soccer field! A better choice would be softer, garden-style low lights and spotlights to enhance the natural beauty of the space. The magnificent tree in the park, in particular, deserves its own spotlight to highlight its splendor. On the plus side, there's ample and accessible parking, and the location is conveniently adjacent to both the aquatic park and the library.

I live in West Hollywood so it's 10 minutes to drive but it's completely worth it. Parking is free for the first hour and second hour is free with validation. There is two dog parks in between the basketball courts; one for small dogs and one for big dogs. The parks are always clean, owners and dogs are friendly, stocked with poop bags and equipped with a clean water fountain!
