Excellent 80 min massage by Marco!! 10/10 Every staff member I encountered was warm and friendly. I accidentally left my earrings in the robe pocket and they quickly tracked it down and found them for me. Superb!

There used to be a masseuse, Daniella, who gave the best massage ever. I’m sure she left the away spa because she was the only thing great about it. Had one of the worst massages. De-stress massage 50 minutes created more stress than when I came in. How do you get out of a horrible massage?? It’s like being trapped for almost an hour in a torture chamber. I’m not even sure the lady I had has a massage license. She would hit parts of my body in a painful way. She used SO much oil it was ridiculous-splashing it on me. She was very rough with the sheets. Truly didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing at all. Her nails were scratching me when her hands were angled a certain way. Just moved so fast, so rough. Nothing relaxing about it. I should have cancelled when I found out Daniella left. My husband left his massage and said it was awful as well. The W in general has been very disappointing and the spa is the cherry on top of the nightmare.

If give -5 stars if I could. Don’t even consider getting a massage here. This is apparently a 5 star hotel and the spa was giving 0 star. Truly the worst massage I’ve ever had in my life. So terrible. From the moment I arrived they gave me a robe to change in the bathroom and there wasn’t even a hook on the door to change so I asked to remove my clothes in the room instead of putting on the robe. The masseuse would put pressure on a spot and just keep her hand there. No massaging was truly done. A deep tissue was booked & it was far from that. Mind you this was a birthday gift. What a complete waste of money and time. 20% gratuity is already charged, which is not a problem because that’s the normal standard. But if you’re gonna already include tip, at least give a 20% service as the bare minimum.

One of the best massages I've ever had. Really worked into the sore spots where it was needed and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Very communicative and exactly what I needed!

Wow. My experience today at the AWAY spa was fantastic. Ian who was running the front desk had the best energy!! He was so polite and accommodating. He took me on a little tour and was waiting when I got out to assist with turning on the steam shower. My massage therapist (I think his name was Jaime)was pretty good. I had to adjust the pressure more often than I prefer but I rather that than it being too much or too little. All in all I highly recommend.

I had a great experience at the spa. Lucy was amazing. I was in bad shape with neck, back, and shoulder pain. I had two massage sessions and a CBD oil treatment. I left feeling like a new man! I would highly recommend Lucy for any massage requests at this spa!

The front staff was polite, I was guided and received explicit instruction to make service transitions smooth. My therapist Gabriella, was very accomplished at her craft, I highly recommend her and taking a visit to the Away Spa.
