Positive: Close enough to everything in Nashville without being so close to the craziness. Perfect location. Also next to the Vanderbilt campus perfect for walks. 8 minute Uber ride to Broadway bars, museums, Gulch, Third Man Records, Gibson Garage. Negative: ""
We had an incredible stay at Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was spot on, stylish, welcoming, and exactly what you want when you’re staying downtown. Huge shoutout to Landon at the front desk. He was next-level attentive and went out of his way to make our stay special since we were celebrating a milestone. You can tell when someone actually cares versus just doing a job. Landon absolutely nailed it and made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well thought out, and the location is perfect for enjoying Nashville without feeling overwhelmed by the chaos. Highly recommend this hotel, and if you’re lucky enough to be helped by Landon, you’re in great hands. We’ll definitely be back.
Landon and staff absolutely amazing! A little back story this was my escape weekend to reset from the emotional 16 year old at home, enough willing to spend $1500 for 2 nights in a room to just relax. I work hard and have never spent this kind of money of hotel for a weekend! My main purpose for booking was a relaxing tub!!!! For 3 hours alone a spontaneous escape over stressed escape weekend I searched as many ways as possible. Jacuzzi tub, jetted tub, stand alone tub, hot tub lol anything and never been to Nashville. We arrive in so excited to see a fancy room a huge tub and my first thing I wanted to hub into with a glass of wine! Well the water pressure was disappointing cause it was so slow that the water in the tub was becoming cold before it was even filled up a quarter of the way. So I tub and move forward. Later when back in room I think most are used to being a little tipsy the couch was uncomfy and awkwardly placed as you cannot move tv floors were very dusty as seen in pictures. I just felt for the amount paid as well I was very disappointed in value for price paid and I was at all comfy in what I was looking for. Although all of that the staff was so sweet and understanding and that I truly appreciated
we stayed here to visit nashville and this hotel was perfect! the staff are super friendly and once we got checked in, they gave us complimentary water. they’re also dog friendly if you have a four legged friend traveling with you. just be on alert for confined spaces with other dogs in the hallway or around corners. we did have an "incident" where the staff gave our room number to someone else by mistake after we checked in. an honest mistake that didn’t bother us at all but they gave us a $50 credit! the rooms are spacious and is upscale without the super upscale prices. the hotel is just 2ish miles away from broadway. it gives you that downtown feel but just minus the noise and craziness. it’s a good escape without being too far away from anything. the valet service is what i recommend. it’s $54 a day or $64 for large trucks. super convenient to message them and they go and grab your car within a few minutes. overall, the staff and our stay was perfect. we had no issues and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. plus, they have free drinks in the lobby from 5pm-6pm every day!
Check in was easy, room was ready, and decor stood out. On the evening of check-in, the valet was at the ready; opening the door as guests walked up. It was a cold week, so a welcome open door leading to the warm lobby was very much appreciated. It is a cute boutique hotel with a nice restaurant on-site, complimentary happy hour with sweets and wine, tea and coffee service in the lobby on mornings, and a smallish gym with limited equipment (think treadmills, dumbbells, and kettle bells). The restroom decor was pleasantly interesting, and the shower was an ample size with a seat. Full sized shampoo, conditioner and bodywash was available. Service was great, we needed a microwave and were able to have one delivered. However, it was on the dark side inside the room. Concrete ceilings were unusual, a little out of place and cold compared to the decor. One negative comment was the lack of security on the balcony. Our Balcony was large enough to have a seat on it if they wanted to, but the door to it didn't lock. They installed a chain lock, but honestly, that (had it been functional) could have easily been bypassed. I've never even seen a balcony door that didn't have a bolt locking system. See the attached picture, it needs a better solution for sure!
We had a great night at this hotel. We ate dinner in the restaurant Thursday, December 11, 2025. The food was excellent. Our server Matt was helpful, kind, efficient and charming. He helped us through the menu and then introduced us to the bartenders Patrick and Steven where we had nightcaps and closed down the bar. They were knowledgeable about the whiskeys. We chatted with them and the rest of the guests at the bar. Those theee made the evening memorable. Thank you
Stayed here last month and had an amazing experience. Front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful. Location is perfect for anyone looking to not drink and drive ornjust having great food options in walking distance. Bars within walking distance. Will be staying here again for my birthday celebrations.
