Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa

A cozy, comfortable stay overall. The rooms are a bit dated, but everything was clean and well cared for, which honestly matters more to me. The bed was especially nice, super comfortable and easy to relax in after a long day. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. All in all, a solid, enjoyable stay and a good choice if you’re looking for something reliable and comfortable in Reno.

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary here. Very overpriced. Valet was great. They always had our car ready when we requested it. The room was run down and dated. The restaurant is okay food. The guy at the front desk that checked us in was rude. Seemed like he hated his job. The concierge was the only reason I'm giving it better than a 1. She had our room all set up and surprised us. Anytime we had questions or had issues she was ready to help any way possible. She is one of a kind.

I had an amazing experience with Luke, the valet at the hotel! From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. He handled my car with care, helped me with my bags, and made the whole check-in process feel smooth and stress free. He was so nice to my kids and even gave them a high five! ||Luke went above and beyond with his customer service friendly conversation, quick service, and a genuinely positive attitude. You can tell he takes pride in his job and truly cares about guests. My guy!

Our first time and enjoyed our stay. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Upon check in Nico in the front desk happily granted our room modification request. She even asked if we needed extra water and stuff for the room. Valet people greeted us nicely. Our room also has the river view. Place is clean and pet friendly. There is also arcade in the first floor where you can play. Pool is covered but hot tub is open. Place is close to the auto museum and patagonia outlet which is walking distance. Will definitely come back

The rooms are definitely not what you see in the pictures…. I booked two rooms for my wife’s birthday and another couple and they were hideous, resembled more of a dungeon with stains and no furniture. The staff was very apologetic but still didn’t do anything to change it. We opted for a lower costing rooms without a refund because the suite was the worst I’ve seen. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in all kinds of hotels, motels and hostels and never seen something that was priced this high that resembled a model castle… definitely would not recommend and will not go back!

The valet guys are great! They always greet you with a smile and are willing to help. JAEDEN was especially helpful and sweet. He remembered little details about my day and followed up on them when he saw me next. He also left my car running in the morning to warm up for me. I appreciate the attention to little details. Keep up the great work!

Nice place. Friendly staff. NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST! Regardless of Bonvoy level. My Ambassador Elite (usually 75 to 100 nights/year at Marriott) gets me 1000 points at check-in. I was able to squeeze a $10 voucher for breakfast for my wife and I...thanks to the gracious employee. MARRIOTT...your properties continue to come up short...at least with regards to US properties. I recommend finding a Hilton to see what kind of rewards you'll get.
