The Spa at Fairmont Grand Del Mar

This review is for the fabulous spa at the hotel. I decided to treat and pamper myself for my 40th birthday celebration. And it was well worth it! The moment I arrived I had an amazing and luxurious experience. The staff is very friendly, professional, and gave me some marvelous surprises that made my day special. Special shoutouts to the Sarahs (there are two of them), Josie, and Kyoko, for being such lovely and kind staff. And thank you Bogden for the amazing hot stone massage and for working out the tension as I slept so well that evening. I love the ambiance of the spa and would definitely go back. Thank you again!

Fabulously clean facility. Includes validated valet parking with service. Loved the segregate clothing optional women’s spa area with jacuzzi, private patio, lounge, changing area, wet and dry saunas, showers and treatment rooms. Staff assured me the men’s side was identical facilities if you wanted to bring a friend. Robes, towels and shower items provided an immediately along with snacks and a variety of fruit waters. Slippers, and other toiletries upon request. My massage service was outstanding along with the mud and Swiss shower. The 85 degree clothed coed outdoor pool and very hot tub (super toasty temp) was beautiful and the poolside service was delicious. I ordered a virgin pina colada off the menu and it was delicious. Relaxing quiet atmosphere (we went on a Wednesday morning though) Everyone from the valet to the spa front desk staff to the pool was so kind and attentive and encouraged us to explore the grounds and restaurants. Will most certainly be back.

The massage service and swimming pool here are very good, the staff take care of me carefully and meticulously. I ordered lunch right by the lake and they served delicious food, there were always 2 staff on duty. You should try to come here when you have the chance

Most luxurious spa in San Diego! Pricing is high but worth it for a special treat!

Every part of my visit to the spa and pool was wonderful. The massage was amazing, the amenities were lovely, and even the lunch ordered by the pool was delicious. Definitely go if you have the chance.

I spent a day with my friend and I could not have imagined a better experience. Massage therapist Gitana is amazing! I had scalp massage and foot massage add ons and it was excellent. Everyone is super friendly, professional and helpful. Pool is gorgeous, indoor hot to very relaxing. Will definitely go back!

So relaxing. They offer many packages. My husband and I chose a massage, but they had a men's section and a woman's section. There was a lounge with a medium selection of dried fruits and nuts. Fresh spring water with oranges. I relaxed in the hot therapeutic waters of the bubbling jacuzzi. Make sure to wear your hair up as it is a salt water mix. I chose a light Swedish. Recovering from a knee surgery, the therapist would not touch the area of the scar. Understandable, but I would have liked her to work out a knot from walking. I fell asleep and so it was great. Refreshing lounge area to the adult pool or stay in the cool sipping on water. I would recommend.
