The Remington Suite Hotel & Spa

To be honest we absolutely loved the place and the people that worked there. It is sooooo charming and alot of history. However I believe it is really understaffed which reflects when you are going to a boutique style stay. Never came and tidied up the room while we were there for 4 days and very rarely was someone at the front desk or bar area. However the people that were there working were having to do everything from check you in to valet to making drinks and asking questions and typically it was one person. They were great though. But all in all I would recommend it as it is a really neat place!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Highly recommend!||I stayed at this unique boutique hotelier six days last week for business, instructing a PMP course for SWEPCO. The Remington is like a large, luxurious home with a lot of rich dark wood and updated rooms and bathrooms (I was on the 5th floor. I believe the other floors are still being renovated). My bedroom was spacious, with a king size bed, desk, television mounted on the wall, and a vintage refrigerator. The bathroom was very spacious and beautifully renovated with a rain shower and soaker tub. I had access to a large living room with a tv just outside of my door, as well as a kitchen down the hall. You will need your own electrical cords if you have a lot of electronics (which I do) and the view isn't great. There are brick walls and exposed piping to give it an industrial feel as well.||The Remington would be a great place to have a reunion, event or wedding!||What makes the Remington so special is the staff! When I arrived I was hurting so badly due to sciatica. David and Deandra were so kind and worked it out so that I could get a massage. Talk about a life saver! Wren was great an d she helped me a lot. I was able to get another massage a couple of days later. ||The Remington is THE place to stay in Shreveport! Hope to visit again soon.

My wife surprised me with a birthday massage at the spa, and I have to say — it was top notch. Laya was amazing from start to finish. I got an hour-long deep tissue massage. If you’re looking for your next massage, give them a try. I’ll be back soon

First time staying here, Loved the Location and the entire esthetic of the Hotel! So beautiful on the inside, & I just loved how the room was decorated!!! Now I will be rearranging my bedroom lol. Major shoutout to K2 🥳 !!! She was nothing short of amazing 🤩 she helped me out without a question! I definitely would stay here anytime I’m in Shreveport.

Highly recommend the Remington Suite Hotel. Our stay was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my wife and I. The atmosphere and decor were really cool. We loved our room except for the view. Book early and request a front room if view is important to you. The rear view is a brick wall. They have an awesome upstairs interior event room that’s huge and a roof top area. Perfect place for company events or Christmas party etc. The complementary breakfast was fantastic. It’s also conveniently located near shopping areas and the board walk. Recommended hitting Rhino coffee house about four blocks away. We will definitely book there again. The staff were awesome and really cared about our stay!

This place is an amazing historical building that is well preserved, modernized, very clean, and charming. The staff was great and accommodating. The rooftop patio provides an all inclusive and safe experience day & night. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely revisit when passing through Shreveport in the future.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with a great location, in downtown Shreveport, where a warm and friendly staff will greet you. Our Monet art themed room was so lovely. A welcoming, spacious and comfortable suite. There is a very nice bar on the first floor with a wide selection of beverages. We stayed two nights while in Shreveport and will definitely choose this location again. This historic building, established 1841, now has more than 20 art themed suites. Ask the staff about the history of this building and you will enjoy their stories. Your stay here will not disappoint!
