Kai was an incredible massage therapist! I especially appreciated their thoughtful communication before, during, and after the session. They were responsive to all my needs, and I left feeling relaxed, grounded, and deeply cared for. Kai created a welcoming, calming atmosphere, checked in regularly about pressure and focus areas, and tailored the session beautifully. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a deeply thoughtful and healing experience.
Kai is my new favorite massage therapist in town. I normally get Thai massages which involves getting stepped on, and it is nice to find someone who has a firm enough pressure without having to do all that. I appreciate Kai's attentiveness and background - when I get massages, I'm not just trying to release my muscles, but to better understand my body. I'm curious about the somatic integration session and will be scheduling one soon!
I had pre and post top surgery massages with Rory, and I can't recommend Rory and Queer Body Collective enough. Rory was very professional, attentive, and knowledgeable in massage and reading body/muscles, and checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable which I appreciated. I am so glad I found out about Queer Body Collective from (I think Jo?) at Queer Scouts camp a few years ago, and will definitely be coming here more regularly.
Stana is a wonderful and understanding massage therapist! He provided excellent service, communicated effectively, and was very empathetic to my cranky ouchie body! I am glad to have community members who are as skilled and kind as him and I will be back!
I had a wonderful experience at Queer Body Collective with Jo. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly heard and safe. Jo took the time to talk through my needs with such expertise and deep understanding of the body. Their approach was both intuitive and informed, making me feel cared for and supported throughout the session. I left feeling so much better - both physically and emotionally. I highly recommend Queer Body Collective for anyone looking for a welcoming and affirming space for bodywork!
Working with Jo after having nearly 2,000$ stolen from me (by another LMT in the Boston area) revived my confidence in seeing massage therapists; Jo is awesome and I really appreciated the trans inclusivity being the center of Jo's practice. While I haven't gotten to work with any of the other providers yet, I'm hopeful that if Jo is working with them then they are good and safe providers. The space and building housing the workspace are safe, clean, and handicap accessible (there is a lift outside and one handicap space in front) and I felt welcomed even when passing by other providers in the building. I'd recommend Jo and the queer body collective to anyone, especially if you've had negative experiences with LMT's or have been scammed in the past by holistic/homeopathic providers while seeking treatment for chronic pain. Jo is transparent, honors time and space, and will work with you even if you're running late (ADHD friendly) and can't do a full session. I've had providers cancel on me because of unpredictable traffic or life getting in the way but have never experienced that here. All in all, come see these providers!!
I had an amazing experience with Kai at queer body collective, Kai's presence and genuine care made me feel supported and heard. Their knowledge and clear communication was reassuring I would recommend Kai to anyone looking for an excellent massage and can't wait to return for another service.
