Richard Lee Neuromuscular Massage Therapy

If you’re experiencing chronic pain, I HIGHLY suggest booking a neuromuscular massage with Richard! Best massage ever. I came in with a lot of pain, dull-aching, burning, tension, numbness, tingling from whiplash I got from a car accident and could not sleep or function due to the pain in my neck and shoulders. Richard used trigger point therapy, active release techniques, myofascial release therapy, and a lot of other various massage types that made my overactive nerves AND muscles to calm down. He was kind, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. He communicated constantly whether the pressure for me was too intense or not. I was surprised to find out I was tense in areas I wasn’t thinking about either such as my lower back, face, quads, and arms. I left being able to calm down a massive flare up I was experiencing. Recommend: Would recommend for chronic pain, immediate relief, TMJ issues, anyone working at a desk job, etc. Location: To get to his office, you will need to go through the Korean Community Center and go up to Floor #3. Parking: There is a parking lot located within the building area, plenty of space available. There’s also street parking.

I just left my appointment and WOW! Richard is incredibly knowledgeable and talented! I stand for long periods of time and drive for long periods of time for work and my body gets knotted up and stiff pretty quickly. But Richard worked out a lot of knots, even from areas I didn’t realize that had them! He is visually impaired which makes this even more awesome because his sense of touch and intuition is stronger! He does ask that first time patients pay ahead to secure their spot because a lot of times people don’t show up. And when I finished my massage someone called to make an appointment and claimed that they sent him the money but instead they just sent a screen shot, instead of him getting a confirmation text from Zelle. So he asked me and I confirmed that they did not pay and it is only a screen shot. So please don’t do this man like that. He is a diamond in the rough and his prices are VERY reasonable for the type of massage you get! I will be returning next week to get more of this facia broken down!

I chose to take a chance on Richard after consistently seeing nothing but glowing 5-star reviews. So here's another one: Richard is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I've suffered from chronic neck and shoulder pain since I was a child and it has only been exacerbated by my career choice -- so I've had my fair share of professional bodywork. Richard's ability to tune in to the landscape of your anatomy is incredible. It feels like he can trace the pain back to its roots and yank them out. Obviously, consistency is key and not all longstanding issues can be cured within one visit, but Richard can get damn near close and have that work last for a while! He is flexible with scheduling, a great conversationalist, and one of my favorite bodywork professionals 🙂

Richard is a master healer. I’ve been struggling with a wonky unstable knee for a long time. Have tried so many things…In just my first one hour session Richard got it 80% resolved with trigger point therapy and neuromuscular work. He also released knots all over body. Already scheduled a second session to build on the breakthroughs. Richard is a deeply intuitive body whisperer. For your awareness, he’s visually impaired. You must call to book an appointment and he requires prepayment via Zelle. He makes it all easy. He’s warm, humble, responsive and affordable — a true gift to work with.

One of the best massages I’ve had, and I’ve had many. Richard is an intuitive and kind masseuse. Asked me throughout the massage if the pressure he applied was too much or too little. Very calm and aromatic ambience. Went in with a lot of tension in my neck and knots in my shoulders and back from working out, and came out a new man! Will def be going back to him

Richard has an enhanced sense of knowing intuitively and relaxed my nerves. He is patient and communicates well during the massage (Very Important) Two thumbs up. I will definitely return.

There is not enough words to truly express how amazing this massage was. Richard is a phenomenal person and his work reflects that as well. I can say with full confidence that this was the best massage I’ve ever had.
