Jim Mangani Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

Jim is a great at communication and goes over everything thoroughly to make sure you're comfortable. He's a true professional, highly skilled in his technique and excellent at discerning what's going on with each muscle group. His massage is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing.

I was in town visiting family and found Jim on Google. As a massage therapist from Utah, his skills were outstanding! Pressure and flow were parallel with some of the best spas in the world. I would recommend his service to all those who come to DC. His studio is extremely comfortable, he uses fantastic products and the whole experience was just what I needed after a long flight and busy schedule in our Nations Capital.

Jim creates a relaxed and comfortable environment and tailors the experience to you. As a runner, Jim has focused on my legs: stretching and working through knots. He manages to get at deep tissue without exceeding my pain tolerance, but I'm sure he can go deeper. I always feel better, looser and more relaxed in the hours and days after a session.

I highly recommend. Jim is very good at communicating to make sure his pressure level is comfortable, that you're doing okay and ensuring that the entire experience is beneficial. After 90 minutes of an incredible massage, I walked about feeling incredibly relaxed for the first time since pre-Covid. The real treat though was the next morning when I woke up fully refreshed. I haven't slept that well in years.

Jim is a terrific massage therapist. Well appointed and comfortable studio with large heated table. He has strong hands and gives an AMAZING deep tissue massage that inculdes stretching. He is THE BEST!

I have been working with Jim since May, it has been a great experience. I had an issue with my left hip, in a few sessions Jim was able to pinpoint the problem and identify a way to fix it. After the session the hip pain went away but more importantly I understood what was causing the problem so I can prevent it from happening again.

After a massage with Jim i can honestly say I feel renewed, relaxed and humbled by how reponsive and adaptive Jim is to my problem areas. I am a regular customer who is more than satisfied at his skill.
