I love the vibes at this bar, the music choices are great (though on decades night, they could also play songs that aren't only the top hits, to switch it up), and the drinks are actually pretty good. The reason why I give 3 stars is because the DJ always seems to suck at transitioning between each song on decades night. Sometimes it's so abrupt it kind of ruins it. And he played the Barbie song for so long but all the actual good songs he only played for 30 seconds then moved on to the next one. There was also a separate terrible sounding bass beat behind certain songs, which made it hard to hear the actual song and just sounded bad because it didn't mix well with the song. Our DJs at all our high school dances back in the day were waaaay better...

Fridays are a great deal starting at $1 per drink. Music is always good everyone is always singing and dancing. Staff is amazing drinks are served fast specially from the bartender Guadalupe. Even though it can get crowded security is very professional and is always controlling every situation the bouncer Randy is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for fun

Monroe is hands down one of my favorite spots in SF. The atmosphere is classy and sexy and it’s always a good time. Decades nights on Friday has me dancing all night. The staff is also top notch. Drinks are served fast and despite the long line the security outside really handle the crowd quickly. Randy the security at the door is very professional and helpful. I recommend this spot to anyone visiting and def for locals.

Warm inside Don't need a t-shirt under the long-sleeve or any jackets. Use short- sleeve Fridays Drinks are $1 and go up every hour, especially their red drink that taste good. Happy hour before 9 or 10 pm, and Mai Ties are not included, nor are margaritas Go in at 8pm or before for free

This place has amazing talent from beverage service to top entertainment and extremely friendly security. Check it out - Friday 5pm - 2am + Saturday 10pm - 2am + Sunday morning vibes starting @ 6AM

I was with friends and we went in the morning around 2 am The waitress's behavior was very bad and she does not speak English. When I asked her, she replied angrily, "The food is very bad. Nothing fresh." The service was bad. When I paid the bill, the waitress asked me for a tip. I was really shocked by her order because I was going to give it to her but the service is very bad the cleanliness is very bad the food is very bad I never go back to this dirty restaurant.

Normally a 100% great experience. We take our labmates out here once a year for a celebration but this year, we left outside to get our labmate at around 7:55 or so and around 8ish whoever the bouncer was didn’t let us back in? I had the stamp, was relatively coherent (not very drunk but tipsy ) regardless my purse and friends were back in there and he didn’t let me back in? He had dark hair and honestly killed the vibe. Had some kind of power trip . Either way 3 stars bc most experiences are incredibly amazing but this one bouncer ruined it 🙃
